Yesterday I binged all of 2 Moons The Ambassador and it was objectively bad. The acting, the sound editing, the subtitles and translation. All bad. But I loved every second of it. It was tropey. It was pulp. It was the most BL thing I’ve seen in a long time. It represented the core of everything BL is. Well Thai BL. As much as I love getting these wonderfully queer stories and the expert storytelling and high production budgets, nothing will ever beat a show with a budget of one denim jacket and an apple that hits every single trope in the BL book.

#2 moons the ambassador #I cannot stress enough that this show is quite possibly the worst show I’ve seen in awhile #and that it was also perfect and the best show #I have no notes this is the trash I enjoy #this is also why I’m so excited for my dear gangster oops and twins #given the choice between beautiful and queer story or bl pulpy trash #I will choose the pulpy trash every time #but also luckily I don’t need to choose #what a beautiful world we live in
