What is the point of giving out ones discord user? Do people talk to others that they don't know a lot?

I guess it depends on the person

For me, it's a less formal way of keeping contact without the embarrassment/perceived flirtation of asking for someone's number

People I have the number of are people I know closely and intimately

I use discord for various other relationships, it could be similar for other people

And depending on the person and how well I want to get to know someone/how much I *have* to talk to them I might ask for their discord and such

Why recently people saying tumblr is dying? where that coming from?

It's been becoming more and more like Twitter to cater to the newer audience (immigrated from twitter) and with this new audience comes a lack of understanding for how the site originally functions

That, along with the fact that it's also implementing things like tumblr live (and its unregulated at best) and so are two big reasons I'm aware of

If anyone else has more info let me know! I'll share with the class

Tumblr's always been perceived as 'dead' but it might truly turn out to be a self fulfilling prophecy

question, why do commissions?

Because I really want to!

It's been a goal of mine for a while, and at first I wanted pocket money because I'm about to graduate and I still eat my friend's scraps during hangouts when they go out to eat... but now I kinda just need the money?

We kinda ran out of food on Sunday and while we're getting by, It's kinda just barely, this happens a lot during winter

So rn I'm hoping to help my mummy out because she's super stressed and for a house of 7 + 2 bigger dogs there's a lot to be stressed about!

What brush do you use? I really like the way you draw your art line!

for my older posts (anything from a month ago to summer) I used this brush I found offline that looks like this (left) with this as it's qr code (right)

it's not my brush and I've not used it very much lately

however, I did customize this specific brush to match what I was going for now! I call it soft serve,, and it's not much different than another brush but I like it very much and at the moment it serves my needs

If you do not use ibis paint and need the specifics of the brush just lemme know and I'll be happy to share

I'll go over uh women's outfit in this image because men's fashion seemed relatively the same and I like all of it, I'm a sucker for a suit

Also I don't know where the general fashion of this is, like country-wise

Okay wait I cannot tell you the genuine horror I felt

So the name was familiar and I didn't know who tf you meant so I Google searched and it wasn't helpful

But that first result's url was oddly familiar

So I took to tumblr and google's images and the horror I had when it was revealed to me who Charlie wasJWKZJD literally went "no no nO NO NO"

I'm so funny

In all serious I think he's hilarious and I love the exchanges I've witnessed between tumblrs I follow and Charlie the cursed phone guy

The goal, now that I remember who he is, is not to be found by him can we do that? Yes we can I have faith in all of us

What's the best way to hold onto a tiny friend without losing them? Like if you gotta run somewhere but don't want them to be having to put up with having to hold on tight.

Put them in a pocket

Or better yet! Behind your ear!

They can rest on a necklace if theyve got a good grip

Or on your head if theyre confident in remaining unseen

pocket one works best though, and I think most pockets will do as long as you dont crush them or anything

But I like the idea of putting them behind one's ear

trapped where

Oh I was at my early College class (had to go in person cause my computer can't run the apps needed)

I stood outside for an hour before learning the teacher was there the whole time and I could've just walked in

Then learned I didn't even need to show up because I know how to use illustrator and this was an inkspace lesson

But my family wasn't answering the phone when I tried to leave for a while so yeah! Trapped

I got home in the end
