He keeps buying cactuses because he's like THESE ARE EASY TO TAKE CARE OF I DON'T NEED TO WATER THEM but then he's so determined to keep a plant alive he keeps overwatering it when he's finally home and they die of root rot. Like when he's gone it's fine, they're chilling, but then he comes back and he's like oh shit I have a PLANT I have an ALIVE THING I will take care of it, I will be a good dad, and it never works out. It never does. Kyle is not a good dad and he sobs as he throws another plant corpse in the garbage.
