Minific idea: Gai is kidnapped. Suddenly past Super Sentai villains pop up everywhere. Cue the Zenkaigers to the rescue.

I find it somewhat unlikely that Gai would get kidnapped now that he's one of the most experienced sentais and also buff as fuck but ok

Gai groaned as he roused, his head pounding from a bump he could feel on his head. What happened to me... he wondered, trying to get up, only to find himself bound up in chains and gagged. What the-?!

"Ah, I see our guest has awoken." Gai reeled back as a giant talking robot bird peered over him, cackling. "Welcome, Ikari Gai, to the palace of the Tojitendo Empire, where you will witness the fall of your beloved planet."

Gai's eyes widened in alarm and he attempted to yell through his gag, but it all came out as warbled muffled gibberish. What are you doing?!

The bird showed him a holo-video screen, and Gai all but flailed in panic as he watched people getting attacked by some very familiar villains- all of them previous opponents of the Super Sentai. From low level mooks simply bullying and menacing people on the streets, to high level commanders bombing buildings...

"Oh, you must be wondering how they were all revived." The bird asked in a condescending tone as he glared at him. "We merely copied them from your memories. Your data repository is... quite exquisite," he laughed.

He used my knowledge of the Super Sentai to do this... unforgivable! Gai struggled harder against his bonds, wriggling and thrashing until he managed to get the gag loose from his mouth. "You're not going to get away with this!"

"Oh, but we already have," he said. "Now, silence, you are about to witness the triumph of our grand empire- GAH!"

The bird was thrown across the room as the wall was blasted apart, and Gai coughed as smoke filled the chamber he was in. He barely had time to get his bearings before a loud voice boomed and several people charged through the hole in the wall.

Several colorful people.

The one in white, the clear leader of the group, went over to Gai and started undoing his chains. "Are you alright sir?" he asked.

Gai's eyes widened in excitement and as soon as the chains fell from his body, he grabbed his rescuer by the shoulders. "Whoaaaa! Could it be, you are... you are....!"

"...I am?" he asked, confused.

"The new Sentai! The Zenkaigers!" Gai exclaimed. "I can't believe I get to meet you like this!"

"Ah yes, that's us... I'm Zenkaiser... Nice to meet you, I guess?" he said, scratching his head shyly.

"Oi, Kaito!" The white ranger looked up as a gold ranger- looking startlingly familiar to Gai- walked up to them. "I found these on that weird bird guy-"

"Ah! My Gokai Cellular and Ranger Key!" Gai grabbed the two objects from the golden warrior. "Thank you so much for getting them!"

"I wasn't getting them for you-"

"Ah, look out!" Gai threw the two warriors away as weird-looking mooks crept up on them, plug-shaped spears held aloft. He dodged the spears and spin-kicked them, disarming them, before kicking them once more to knock them into each other to disorient them

"Gokai Change!" Gai called, putting his Ranger Key into his Gokai Cellular.

GOOOOOOKAIGER!

"Ehhhhh?!" The white ranger pointed at Gai as he transformed. "Oi, Zox, he looks just like you! But he's silver!" he told his companion.

"...He does," Zox said. "He must be one of the original Gokaigers. That was why Gege had him captured."

The mooks reared back, crying out, but before they could retreat, Gai had already swung his trident, dispatching them in one swift move. FINAL WAAAAAAAAAVE!

"Wow..." Zenkaiser said, in complete awe. "So that's a real Gokaiger! He's so cool!"

"Not bad, I guess." Zox added, almost grudgingly.

"Heh." Gai puffed out his chest in pride, but before he could say anything more the giant bird came back with more mooks in tow.

"Alright senpai, you take the lead!" Zenkaiser said, raising his blaster-type weapon. Zox sighed exasperatedly, but stood at Gai's other side.

Gai smirked under his mask. "Alright then. As Marvelous-san would say... Let's make this super showy!"
