#guess I'll stock up on the antihistimines

Hey as you prepping for surgery, I had mine last year and here's a couple things I found helpful. Thought I'd pass them along in case they're of any use to you.

Button up shirts, Primark does some fantastic soft cheap ones in the men's section that work great as PJ's or as just a soft easy to put on top post surgery. As you don't want to be pulling tees over your head.

If you gotta drive anywhere, make sure you put a pillow between your chest and the seatbelt or else owie.

You cant reach up for like a month at least, you need to reach up for something either get someone else to do it or prepare, so get yourself a step stool or just move everything lower before surgery.

Antihistamines specifically one with cetirizine hydrochloride (piriteze is a popular brand that is this type) is amazing for relieving itchy sensations. And you will be itchy.

Answering this publically so I don't lose the info, Thanks so much! I've been collecting advice for post-op stuff, so this is very handy! I hadn't heard the thing about antihistamines, I'm glad you let me know about the itching in advance XD Also good to know about the driving thing, I'll make sure I'll bring a pillow for the return trip.
