Comeback related news:

- There will be new Infinite music released around the time of the year-end Seoul fan meetings. (I’ve seen some fan accounts saying that he mentioned an album coming out by the end of the year.)

- They finally decided on the title song a few days ago after much discussion.

- The group choreography has been finalised but they have not had a chance to practise it yet.

- His solo album has also been recorded, and they are looking to release it early next year.

Some stuff from the fan meets:

- When asked where he wanted to go in Taiwan, he said to a club, because he had never been. The fans went “Ehhhh” (possibly because it sounded as if he had never been to a club before). Later on, a fan gave him tips on which clubs to go to, and he laughed.

- He said that the secret to his success overseas is his appearance (or handsomeness), which includes his eyes.

- He said that the one talent he would like to have is sportiness.

- He says that he has been doing yoga (the fans went “Ehhhh” as well when he said that), and he protested, saying that he has really been learning it).

- The Taiwan fans did a surprise tribute video and cake to celebrate Sunggyu’s 5th anniversary of his solo debut. The cake was super adorable (photo cr. @douerky).

- When asked what he looked forward to the most about the group’s future activities, he apparently said quite a bit before backtracking and saying “Sungjong’s hair colour”. But after much guessing of colours by the fans, Sunggyu said that actually (the hair colour) is not his business.

- He had to do aegyo to Oppaya, which gave him serious mental breakdown. He also said that he missed his members when he is asked to do aegyo, since there are members who do aegyo well.

- He said that “My biggest motivation is Inspirits. My job is a singer, because there are people who anticipate my music, hear my songs, come for the concerts, these are the reason I can carry on.” (trans. cr. @SpringDream0428)

- He handwrote the ending message in Chinese, which translates into “the time I spent together with you, I will always treasure”.

- The fan meet reportedly made about NT$11 million (approximately US$366k).

Notes:

- I think that a lot of the fan accounts may have been at least been partially reliant on the chinese translator’s version of what Sunggyu said in Korean, so I am taking everything with a slight grain of salt to account for imprecision / errors / nuances lost in translation.
