HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYLIE!

I wasn’t suppose to make my Ellaby fan kids into MCs but I’m so glad I did because now I have this chaotic adorable cupcake!!!

Under the cut are a bunch random Rylie headcanons! idk when else to talk about them so why not now?

She knows her own mind and is funny, curious, and loyal.

The quickest way to annoy her is to keep asking her to repeat something she’s just said during a conversation. She also doesn’t take immature criticisms well.

She’s generally pretty even tempered, but when someone really pisses her off, she’s instantly on the defensive, pulling out sarcasm and passive aggressive insults. If she’s really fired up, she’ll bring up literally anything which can lead to her saying some pretty hurtful shit, especially if she feels like she's the one being wronged.

When sad/ uncomfortable, she’ll get pretty quiet and withdraw into herself, wanting to get out of the situation asap.

Although she’s an introvert at heart, Rylie is also quite bubbly. She’s capable of being social and friendly at parties but she usually keeps conversations to surface level stuff.

Not strictly a vegetarian, but she tends to prefer the veggie option anyways.

Rylie is a skilled flyer and also a low-key adrenaline junkie. Being willing to make the more risky plays is her trademark as a Seeker.

Knows a fair bit about Herbology and CoMC from her parents, but doesn’t take the subjects to NEWT level.

Is a total nerd for Ancient Runes.

Grew up doing a lot of crafts / art projects with her mum, but really took a liking to drawing and can draw pretty much anything from memory.

Can cook a decent meal even while drunk off her ass.

Can be pretty oblivious towards romantic advances.

Even though she doesn’t get to meet him, her personal hero is her great-grandfather, Lugh Hopper.

Rylie rents a small flat in Galway when she starts working for Gringott’s after her apprenticeship. She lives there with her cat.

One of her long-term goals is to become a Producer for Cursed Tales, the Wizarding Wireless Network show she presents on.

She’s not very religious/spiritual but likes to meditate occasionally.

She loves tropical flavored/scented things. Food, drinks, her lip gloss, shampoo, etc. If it comes in coconut, pineapple, or mango, she’s getting it.

Her patronus is a swan which represents compassion, protection, and joy. I also find it funny because Rylie can be kind of awkward and swans are known for being elegant lol

Her favorite quidditch team growing up were the Kenmore Kestrels. Now she supports Rory’s team, the Montrose Magpies, but will still wear her Kestrels jersey around him once in a while just for fun.

Her celebrity crush is Chris Hemsworth.

The element I associate her with is water.

Her favorite bands/artists are Harry Styles, Lorde, and Fleetwood Mac.

Favorite movie growing up was The Little Mermaid.

Currently, her favorite movie is The Mummy (1999). She thinks it’s ridiculous and that they’re awful Curse-Breakers but loves it anyway.

i’m so excited for dinner w my friends on wednesday bc i took rylie last week and everyone got along really well

but also blaise hates all men and all i told her about rylies boyfriend is that he’s 23 and started dating her while she was in high school and that he makes bad dream pop. AND THEN in the middle of dinner harry calls rylie and is super passive aggressive about her having friends that arent him/his friends and the fact that she’s not gonna come home immediately so she can console him about the fight he got into w his roommate . so like blaise hates him soooo much and is already trying to get rylie to dump him . i want it to happen so bad

rylie told me something about how despite him having anxiety he doesn’t understand depression and just told her to “stop thinking about it and meditate”. he’s so bad at being supportive and she like coddles him and it’s such an imbalanced relationship and i rlly hate to see it. i want her to dump him soooo bad omg
