One of Ranmaru’s prized possessions is the Fudou Yukimitsu, a tanto given to him by Nobunaga for his honesty. For its importance it has become the Saber’s catalyst and a symbol of his loyalty.  If he offers a Master of his this blade it is tantamount to him saying that he will serve them in perpetuity if he could.

He is also very peculiar about the blade not trusting people with it unless they share a similar line of thinking as him. No cowardice, hold fast to their convictions against adversity, and to always be loyal to cause or country

He was quite different compared to what history said he looked like though two things remained accurate, the sent of orchids that signified his presence and his beauty. Azure eyes narrowed as he props himself up using his massive ootachi. “What kind of self serving idiot do you think I am? You know I’m known for my loyalty right?” he asked a frown creasing his face.

Ranmaru was not liking the fact his brothers are on the verge of quarreling but he might as well humor Miitsuhide despite his gut telling him not to.
