I hate gatekeeping with a passion but I'm literally begging some of you to look into your drivers' and the sport's past before giving the worst takes -

#f1 #formula 1 #formula one #like even just more recent history like spygate even you don't need to know every detail in this sport #i certainly don't & I've followed this sport for most of my life #i can say i recommend documentaries like grand prix: the killer years or one or Schumacher or Senna #grand prix the killers years i especially recommend as it details the early years very well & has surviving drivers from the time partaking #it shines a light on the battle for better safety and on drivers who are all too often ignored #but just a little bit of knowledge on the past goes a long a way #hell if you don't want to watch a documentary rush is very good film & it got niki lauda's seal of approval! #& no one's fav driver is unproblematic or a saint no not even them!
