Moving to Arizona seems shitty but Lake ends up loving it because of the Cosays, being able to create an entirely new identity, and grow into her own away from Tulip who was always the “better” twin

Not true but Lake didn’t rlly have her own friends back home and doesn’t do as well in school

Lake is the best thing to happen to Jesse and Jesse is the best thing to happen to Lake... except for the time when she killed two cops and Jesse had to help cover it up... but ya know friends that murder together stay together! Alan Dracula feeds on their carcasses  

Jesse nicknames them MB (murder buddy)

Nate thinks Lake is the coolest person and they are

Lake thinks the softness of Jesse makes him the best person and he is

Lake has like... three friends excluding Alan Dracula the deer. Jesse, Nate, and Jesse’s friend actually named Alan (they’re all queer) 

Alan is a nerd, but was cool enough for Jesse to be able to stay friends with until Lake showed up and got him to drop his shitty friends

He’s a movie buff, and loves old movies and books (like Dracula lol) and the kids have movie nights all the time

The teenagers all share a single braincell that’s always with Alan (Nate gets his own braincell and has his own friend group)

Lake is the token white friend

The gang is still seeking out a token straight friend to complete the group (never gonna happen the queer energy this group holds... unmatched)

A little rocky area with a fallen tree by the lake is their hang out spot and they have good ole aesthetic teenager fun... and unaesthetic teenager fun

Jesse has an older sister in college and a baby sister so Lake doesn’t see them often and after embarrassing themself in front of Jesse’s older sister they refuse to be near the Cosay’s when she’s home and they sucks ass with babies so Lake only rlly hangs out with Nate and Jesse

Lake goes to law school for criminal justice and, stay with me here, Jesse becomes a nurse or PA

They both start off in community college and transfer (I just like when people/characters who aren’t naturally book smart still get “esteemed, intellectual” careers and i love community colleges and i think it matches their characters)

Jesse could have a different career but i don’t see him as continuing with swimming professionally though he probably did it in college for a scholarship
