However, the difference lies in the way to deploy the technological measures; Blended learning is concerned with leveraging technology in classroom learning activities to make the concept clearer and more understandable, while Hybrid learning model is the use of technology to make simultaneous learning sessions available for both the students present in the classroom as well as those present at their own place.  Blended learning is not new model to be adopted, UGC has always put its best efforts to integrate technology in teaching-learning measures of Higher Education System but Pandemic has pushed to implement the same with no other option left whereas Hybrid learning model is an evolved learning model which makes the learning free from any physical barriers by using the digital platform effectively to open the way to explore new technologies to build upon the digital strengths and achieve the learning outcomes.  Higher Education Institutes are required to take a few measures as mentioned below, for the operative implementation of constructive Blended/Hybrid learning that can ensure the quality teaching-learning experience The

deployed in that time of emergency has made the world reimagine the unthinkable Education practices and future possibilities of using digital tools and technologies to make quality learning available to the student at every part of the globe. NEP 2020 has also advocated some visionary actions to promote the utilisation of technology in teaching-learning methods at Higher Education Institutes. It has recommended incorporating national digital platforms like SWAYAM and DIKSHA to foster multidisciplinary and flexible learning. The establishment of Virtual labs will also encourage hybrid/blended learning in Higher Education Institutes to offer equal access to excellent experiment-based knowledge. NEP has also emphasised the role of special training and incentives for faculty members to motivate the student-centric learning and advanced pedagogical practices. It has fostered the development of an open, interoperable technology-based infrastructure in the education sector that can provide solutions to the country’s major difficulties, such as India’s size, variety, complexity and improve the digital divide constraints in learning. Experts have stated that the use of technology driven learning and online platforms will continue to be appreciated and implemented in the post-pandemic Education landscape. Reservation ratio system in colleges of India Reservation is a big issue in India whether it's job or study. In India, special seats are reserved for some group of societies.bIn some colleges of India for a reference in Chandigarh,15% seats in each college are reserved for the students who lived outside Chandigarh. Due to this a high part of students are not able to get admission in Chandigarh. Deserving students who obtain 90 or above percentile does not make it while a student with 80% who live in Chandigarh can claim their seat. Is this the way India is heading towards progress? A student always applies to a college outside it's resident city because it doesn't have proper colleges. But due to this reservation system they are forced to study either in inferior colleges or do complementary studies because of lack of resources. In today’s world of technology, E-leaning has become an integrable organ of Education System and to reap the benefits of E-learning various versatile digital platforms have been developed, Learning Management System (LMS) is one of them.  LMS is a cloud-based technology that is designed to improvise pedagogy as it offers creativity and innovation in teaching and learning practices. Despite the benefits of incorporating LMS in education system, there are some challenges or barriers faced by the institutes while implementing LMS. Here are some issues that are essential to recognize before implementation. 1. Training of Instructors It is essential to provide complete training to the instructors before using the technology. An adequate training will increase confidence and comfort of the facilitator which can overcome the frustration and save the time for more important assignments. But the training provision is generally overlooked and instructors deal the issues themselves with hit and trail approaches. 2. Integration with traditional methods A new technology is always developed to save the time and effort than that was consumed with the existing ones. Management of Education content In the era of remote learning the digital platform must be well-equipped with the features of organizing and distributing education content. So, the LMS to be used must be versatile in providing course content creation and distribution feature so that both teachers and students can share and access the information anytime and anywhere that can eliminate the limitation of face-to-face interaction for effective learning. 4. Interaction between Teacher and Students An efficient learning platform is one that allows effective communication between teacher and students and bridges the learning gap. So, effective interaction is a common issue which is required to be considered to avoid undesired confusion and achievement of learning goals. Solutions to prevent the Issues The Challenges mentioned above are difficult to face for an institute but with the adequate planning and implementation we can go for right LMS and the experienced facilitators to serve the required purpose.  The following measures can be taken to avoid daunting experience of LMS in the institute 1. Proper Leadership The implementation of LMS must be supported by proper leadership of the institute to ensure that  staff and students have access to right information and its understanding every time which can be beneficial for both students and teachers. 2. Knowledge of workflow It is very important to be thoroughly aware of the workflow and work culture of the institute before implementing the LMS, to ensure the path of Blended Learning which can enable E-learning and also improvise the classroom setting using digital platform for course creation and delivery to adopt the hybrid system chosen by faculty member for their comfort and enhancement of their productivity in achieving their goals.3. Features of Existing technology The Institute must explore all the features of existing software before choosing and making use of new technology to ensure the best use LMS by either its sole implementation or integrating it with the existing one. By doing so, one can be benefitted with itsall capabilities and avoid any unnecessary issues caused by its limitations. 4. Provision of Training and Support Structure The successful execution of technology is possible with its adequate training to users. So, there must be provision of support structure in an institute so that the adequate training of LMS can be offered to staff members. The information and training provision should always be available when required by staff members so that system can be benefitted with maximum understanding of the features and efficiencies of LMS.
