I need a completely rewritten teen wolf series with Derek Hale as the main character. I think it would heal me.
#we follow Derek from New York. Laura left for beacon hills. it’s been six years since he was back but he hasn’t heard from her#and hes going stir crazy waiting. he packs up and travels back. it’s almost too much immediately. he still can’t get a hold of Laura#he can’t resist going home. it’s like a natural pull that guides him back. all at once he’s 16 again. staring at the wreckage of his life#deputy stilinski is sherrif now. it’s reassuring in the slightest that the police force seems to have moved on from how corrupt it was#he catches her scent and it’s putrid. bile catches in his throat. he seeks it out. still in denial to what he knows it means.#when he finds Laura it’s like the world ends all over again. he can’t stand to see her like this. he gives her a proper burial.#the best he can do at least#he visits Peter. he’s not the man Derek remembers- so full of fire and cunning. their relationship may have been strained at times.#often Derek felt more like Eve being swayed by the snake than a normal friendship#but this isn’t the sharp tongued uncle who guided him. this is a broken shell. all that remained of his family. he was so lost.#22 but he barely knew how to function without his family- his pack paving the way#Laura handled everything. she got the apartment. she made sure they had food. Derek looks back and feels so useless#he was so lost in his grief. Laura must of felt the same way but she never let them drown in it#she made sure he got his GED. even got him to enroll in community college classes.#he took them online. he never was able to warm up to people the same way. he used to be so full of life. now he just wanted to be left alone#he studied English. never finished his degree. doesn’t look like he ever will now. he can’t go back to Laura and his shared home.#can’t bare to see another shell of a home#he vents to the vacant audience of Peter and his cold fixed eyes#Derek leaves. he wants to promise he’ll return soon#but promises feel costly these days#he decides to go back to the reserve. maybe he can find some clue as to what happened to Laura#someone lured her here. someone who knew them and their history here#his mind went to the worst. Kate. why would she go through the trouble six years later. why wait so long.#Derek couldn’t stomach the thought of facing her. he focused on the woods. the scents were all over the place.#clearly multiple people had been through here recently. two scents were much stronger. Derek follows them#but when he hears the crunch of leaves he realizes why the scents are so strong. they’re still here#he ducks behind some trees. listening in on their conversation. but an echo of their scent catches his attention#he spots an inhaler on the ground. he puts two and two together and swipes it from the leaves.#he comes out once they’re closer. tossing over the inhaler- he figures they’ll leave. dumb kids messing around in the woods#he reminds them this is private property. though that may not be true anymore. he recognizes the scent of a new beta. interesting.

What would you say is your favorite food? Sushi. < Ahhh, this is a good one. My favorite is down to a tie: it’s either chicken curry or burgers.
What color eyes does the person you like / love have? Are they pretty? Dark brown. I’m not too sure what the second question is referring to but yeah, she and her eyes are both pretty.
What was the first television show you were obsessed with? Hi-5, omg. That show was my life in preschool and I always watched the 12 NN replay as soon as I got back home from school, back when I was still on a half-day sched. I was so hooked I remember having legit tantrums before starting Grade 1 because grade school meant full days in school and thus having to miss out on the show entirely.
Do you like Mexican food or any other foreign foods? For sure. All my favorites are Asian (Indian, Japanese, Indonesian, Chinese, etc.) but I also enjoy Italian, Mexican, Greek etc cuisines. I generally haven’t tried African cuisines but I really, really want to.
What color is the keyboard you are currently using? The keys are black with white lettering.
Do you own any of those ‘chunky’ and cute rings? Nope, not my style.
What are you planning on eating for dinner tonight if you haven’t already? I saw my dad cooking up something deep-fried; it was like his own version of katsu or something, or maybe it’s fish fillet? I’m not too sure what it is yet but I’m excited and will probably eat lots of it as I skipped all my meals and have only been running on coffee and vape all day - not good.
Do you own an iPod or MP3 player? If so, when did you get it? Technically I still do. Haven’t used it since high school. I got it when I was 10 back in ‘08; I was envious of the kids in school who had iPods, so I asked my dad to buy me one even though I wasn’t super into music at the time. Not the best kid in the world.
When was the last time someone took your picture? Last Saturday when my package came. Apparently online deliveries now require your photo to be taken upon receiving your package and I think it’s for the seller to keep track of their transactions. I’m not a big fan of the new procedure, but it’s whatevs.
Would you rather write a report or type it on a computer? Type.
What color was the last jacket or hoodie you wore? Gray.
Do you receive more compliments or insults on a daily basis? Neither, really. I haven’t been talking to people a lot; and when I do it’s for work, where I receive neither compliments nor insults.
Who is the lead actress / actor from your absolute favorite movie? Audrey Hepburn and Albert Finney, or Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
Can you recite the alphabet backward? [continued from last night] Slowly, but I’m sure I can finish it.
Do you eat chili when you get a hotdog, or do you like it plain? We don’t do hotdogs with chili here. I generally don’t see chili much where I live and I wouldn’t call it a common dish.
Would you say it’s easy for people to make you smile or laugh? At first I thought it was, but I’m slowly realizing that it isn’t.
What would you say is your favorite cereal, if you even like it? Cookie Crisp is the only one I like. I don’t have cereal often.
When was the last time you went on vacation? Where was it? It was a quick weekend getaway to Tagaytay and then Cavite, if it counts.
How many states have you been to in your lifetime? Zero.
Do you and your friends normally say you love one another? Yep, especially with Andi and Angela.
Have you ever been an outcast at your school or anywhere else? I was definitely one in early grade school, and again in Grade 6 when both my closest friends migrated in a span of six months, and I spent nearly all my lunch periods alone. Looking back on it, I’m really glad I powered through and made it here because I truly wasn’t happy at the time.
Do you own any dresses? If so, what colors are they? I have lots of sundresses and little black dresses because I was into those for a very long time at one point. Some of them are black, obviously, but I also have dresses in blue, maroon, and olive.
Would you say you drink more pop / soda than you should? I never drink soda as I’ve always felt like I spend more time complaining about how drinking it feels like burning my tongue and throat than actually enjoying it.
Would you rather have orange juice or milk with your breakfast? Water.
How many different colors has your bedroom been painted? Just one. The walls have been white ever since we moved here 12 years ago.
Do you cuss? If so, do you ever cuss in front of your parents? I’ll slip in front of them sometimes but I never get in trouble for it anymore.
Would you ever tell your mom about the things you’ve done sexually? Our humor together can be raunchy sometimes but I don’t think I’d ever do this. I dunno if she wants to hear I’ve had sex with a girl either.
Is there anyone out there who can make you cry very easily? Yes.
What was the worst news you’ve heard this entire week? *In the last week, hearing about the typhoon’s effects in other cities didn’t feel good. This entire country is literally only getting by with donations from the private sector because the government isn’t doing shit for cities and families who got severely affected by the typhoon; it’s almost depressing to hear and read about.
Have you ever been in a car wreck? I’ve been in minor car accidents but it would be too much to call any of them car wrecks. They had all just been tiny bumps or thuds.
Do you have your ears pierced? If not, what do you have pierced? Yes, my mom had my earlobes pierced when I was an infant. I don’t plan on getting any more new ones as I’m not really into piercings.
Has anyone ever told you that they think you have ADHD? Nope.
What is your biggest pet peeve? When people reach out first via text/IM then even if I get back to them in 5–10 seconds, it takes them a long time to get back to me. It’s especially annoying if they classify it as urgent, I drop everything to reply quickly, then they end up disappearing. Like why?
Do a lot of people understand you completely? Who does exactly? No, I like keeping a wall up.
Would you say you’re really good at cooking and baking things? Haha no. But it’s something I want to be skilled in, definitely. I’d love to be able to make the food I usually just thirst over on the internet. I’m taking baby steps, like figuring out how to make certain sandwiches, but I have a long way to go before I can consider myself any good.
How is the weather outside right this second? It’s been a little cloudy this morning but it might start to get fair seeing how I’m beginning to see the sky turn blue. I’m just hoping there won’t be too much sun, period.
Do you have a lot of trees around your house? What about buildings? No buildings as I live in a gated village. We have a number of trees around, but I wouldn’t call it ‘a lot.’
Would you say either one of your parents are 'pack-rats?’ No. I have that title, and I believe I inherited it from my great-grandmother who was a bit of a pack rat herself, as I’ve been told.
Have you ever disowned anyone in your family? For what reasons? Kinda. I don’t associate with one of my uncles because he has a terrible drinking issue that he never got to permanently fix. Whenever I see him at family gatherings he just smells like stale gin or whatever it is he drinks, and it just ruins the essence of family reunions for me. As recent as Christmas Day last year he drove drunk and crashed into a car with an entire family, but as always his ass got lucky because 1) no one in the family got hurt, and 2) said family let go of the lawsuit they were planning to file against him.
Have you ever seen That 70’s Show? Do you watch it regularly? I tried watching the first episode but genuinely could not find it entertaining for the life of me. Sorry, Mila :(
If you could choose, what decade would you rather live in? I never really think about revisiting decades - they’re already behind, so what’s the point? As bad as the 2020s have been looking, I’m okay with staying here.
How often would you say you get sick? Once a year at most.
Is there anyone out there who has hurt you so much, you wish they’d die? I used to wish they would die, but I don’t feel that way anymore.
Has anyone ever called you a socio-path before? I don’t think so.
When was the last time you watched a movie in theaters? December.
Have you ever moved to a completely different state before? We’ve moved to different regions before.
Do you mind it when surveys ask you really personal questions? No. Isn’t that part of the point of surveys?
When was the last time you told someone you love them? Thursday or Friday I think, when Andi said it to me first and I said it back. I wasn’t having a good day and they were just looking out.
Which one would you like more: kiss on cheek / kiss on neck? Depends on my mood. Right now a kiss on the cheek sounds nice.
Does it bother you when people steal your stuff on MySpace? This never happened to me because I had Myspace for such a short time and I never caught it at its peak. Also, how do people steal your stuff over there? That’s pretty intriguing lmao
Do you have freckles? Do you like / dislike them? I don’t have any.
Who would you say is the best actor / or actress in your opinion? My biased ass would rally for Kate Winslet all the way, but some other great ones for me are Toni Collette, Emma Stone, Jodie Foster, and Natalie Portman.
How many times have you been drunk in your life? Many.
What would you do if the last person you kissed said they hated you? Be confused and ask them to give me a few concrete reasons. I don’t think too highly of myself, but I know I’ve never done anything to make me deserving of hate, especially with regard to us.
Do you ever think you might be pregnant? No, it has never been a worry of mine.
When was the last time you acted really immature? The weekend.
Do you enjoy watching comedies or horror movies more? Horror. I never watch comedies and the only subtype of it that I watch is romcom.
As a child, did you ever have an imaginary friend? Yeah but it lasted all of five minutes until I got bored with the concept.
Does anyone call you baby? Who would that be? No.
Can you rely on one or more people to take up for you? I have no idea what take up means. If this also means ‘stand up for me,’ then yeah I can.

The Seasons of My Love (3)
Written for day 1 (soulmates) and day 5 (seasons) of @jonsa-week
Rated mature, major character death
3. Melting In My Hand
Chapter title from ‘Misty’ by Kate Bush
A widow at twenty-five and her only experience with marriage being quite a horrendous one, Sansa has no intention of ever getting married again.
That's until she meets a handsome young soldier in a pub.
After fifty-five years of marriage, two children, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Jon and Sansa are still happy. But then disaster strikes.
Sansa is twenty-five.
She and her friends have all signed up as army nurses. She wanted to spend her last night before leaving in peace and quiet, but somehow she let Margaery talk her into coming along to a pub. A group of soldiers awaiting deployment are spending their free night here as well and the girls are giggling too loudly as they try to catch the boys' attention.
Because that's what they are: boys, all ranging between the ages of seventeen and nineteen - perhaps one or two can boast to be twenty or twenty-one - and they have no idea what's waiting for them. The Knights of Summer, her mother would have called them.
Sansa feels out of place, being not only the oldest of their group, but also a widow. She can't say she regrets her husband's death, she's too relieved to be rid of him. Joffrey was a vulgar bully and at times she can still feel the bruises and cuts that used to litter her skin during their marriage. Between Joffrey and leering Uncle Petyr, she's had her fill of men, so unlike her friends, she's not keen on having an innocent flirt with an army boy.
She takes a sip of her soda, trying to smile at a bawdy joke Margie's cousin Megga just shared and excuses herself. She needs some fresh air and a cigarette.
It's colder than she thought outside, so she wraps her coat more tightly around her as she tries to light a cig. The flame of her lighter keeps flickering out and suddenly a pair of large hands cup around hers to shield it from the wind. His head's bent down, but she recognises the unruly dark curls. He's one of the soldiers from inside the pub.
"Thank you," she mutters.
He glances up at her with a smirk. "You're welcome, Miss."
Their eyes meet, and even in the dark, she can see colour flooding his face. His lips part in surprise and she instantly drops her cigarette, fleeing back inside.
She tries to ignore him for the rest of the evening, overwhelmed by all the beauty she can suddenly see and what it means.
It's not until later, when Margie is talking to her handsome stranger and lightly brushes her hand over his shoulder, that Sansa can't take it anymore.
She stalks over to them, heels clicking rhythmically, and practically shoves her friend aside.
She's not even sure what she was planning to do, but now that she's close enough to count his eyelashes and study the curve of his lips, she doesn't hesitate.
She cups his jaw, lightly scratching his wispy beard and dives in to kiss him deeply, encouraged by the hoots and delighted shrieks of their respective groups of friends.
I loved a maid as white as winter
with moonglow in her hair
Sansa sighed as she pulled the brush through her thick, snowy mane. They'll find him, she kept telling herself. He'lll be fine, the mantra repeated itself over and over again in her head.
She couldn't allow herself to think otherwise. Oh, how she wished she could be out there looking for him herself, but she would be of no use to them.
I shouldn't have sent him out by himself. Jon made the trip to the grocery store just around the corner and the bakery across the street almost weekly. The doctors said it was good for him to keep doing things independently as long as he could. The worst that had happened so far was that he got angry because the butcher wouldn't sell him any bread.
It's all my fault. She'd given him a list, told him exactly where to buy what, but perhaps she should have waited until she felt better and could have gone along with him, or asked Minisa for help. It's just that she didn't want to impose on her daughter's life more than she already did.
Suddenly the front door swung open and she pushed herself to her feet, bracing her hand on the table to keep herself steady.
"We were out of dog food," she could hear Jon explain to Mina. "Your mother forgot to put it on the list."
They hadn't had a dog in seven years and the store on Torrhen's Square he went looking for had closed nearly two years ago. When he couldn't find it, he'd tried to head home again, but he had forgotten how to get back.
***
The next morning she woke up to Jon opening drawers, a scowl fixed on his face. At first she'd asked him what he was looking for whenever he did that, but she'd learned it often set off his temper.
He glanced up to find her standing in the doorway and beamed at her. She was fond of his smiles, they made him look fifteen years younger and incredibly handsome.
He closed the distance between them quickly - he was still in an excellent physical condition for his age- and cupped her cheeks to kiss her. Suddenly his hands slid down her neck and collarbones and he started to fondle her breasts.
"Jon!" she cried out, swatting his hands away as she pulled back. "We're too old for that nonsense!"
She pushed past him to get to the kitchen. She almost jumped when she suddenly felt his hand groping her arse. "I can't help it, lovely girl," he whispered into her ear. "You drive me insane."
***
She was sitting on the bench under the cherry tree, trying to focus on her knitting, but the doctor's voice kept echoing inside her head.
She'd been able to hear the words, but she couldn't make sense of them. Lymph nodes. Metastasis. Early stage 4.
"Is it treatable?" Minisa had asked. Her stomach churned as she recalled the look of pity on the oncologist's face. He'd murmured excuses like "your mother's age" and "with her medical history."
I'm still sitting right here! part of her had wanted to scream, but she'd just felt too numb.
"How long?" she remembered asking.
"Difficult to tell, probably six months."
Dying didn't particularly scare her, being left behind was always worse, but she couldn't leave Jon, not now.
"Should we tell him?" Mina had asked after explaining the situation.
The doctor had rubbed his chin and removed his glasses, wiping them as he pondered her question. "I believe it's best to consult the physician who's treating your father before making a final decision," he'd stated eventually. "But I'd advise against it. He won't remember most of the time, and when he does, it might be too much to handle."
***
So Sansa tried to cope by herself, keeping her husband in the dark on the fact that she was dying. She willed her body to stay strong, for him. The doctors and her daughter and son had all agreed that she shouldn't tell Jon, but she kept worrying. What's going to happen when he wakes up one day and I'm gone?
She was aware telling him probably wouldn't make any difference, but it still hurt so much to lie to him and to bear this pain alone. She had Arya and Brienne, but neither of them were good at talking, and Sansa would never burden Mina or Ned with her own troubles. She was their mother, for Seven's sake!
Jon had been her rock for over fifty-five years, and though he was still with her, she was on her own now. Some days she felt like the Jon she'd known and loved for so long was already gone.
Jon would have never shoved her aside in frustration. Jon wouldn't stand in front of their open window stark naked, glaring and shouting at the people who pointed and laughed behind their hands.
***
Brienne and her husband Jaime were visiting. They'd just finished their tea and cakes when Jaime proposed they all play a board game together. Sansa tried to distract him by asking how his brother Tyrion was doing, not wanting to explain that Jon was no longer able to remember the rules to most games.
She couldn't make Jaime change his mind however, especially after sweet oblivious Jon agreed, both men's competitive streak coming out, but she did manage to steer their choice toward a relatively simple card game.
Yet twenty minutes in, Jon suddenly leapt to his feet, roaring: "You're all cheating!" and threw his cards in Jaime's face.
"Hey, sit down, caveman!" Jaime urged him, as Sansa hid her flushed cheeks behind her own cards.
"You're a fucking cheater, Lannister!" Jon threw back at him, banging his fist on the table.
Sansa thanked all the gods Brienne had the presence of mind to stop Jaime from taking it any further by putting a hand on his arm.
***
Jon was walking around naked again, but at least he wasn't near any streetside windows this time. He grinned at Sansa as she let her eyes trail down his body, desperately wondering how she was going to convince him to put on some clothes.
Suddenly he slapped his own arse. "I have a nice butt, don't I, Sansa? I've seen you looking at it. I know you want to get your hands on me," he purred, trying to wink at her.
She decided to indulge him, taking a step closer and admitting: "You caught me!"
Suddenly her vision became blurry and her knees buckled. The last thing she heard was his panicked cry: "Sansa! Sansa, baby! What's wrong?"
***
Five months later.
Jon hobbled on through the black-and-white streets of Wintertown, the snow flurrying down around him. For some reason he'd woken up in a hospital bed that morning, and though his joints felt a little stiff, he was quite sure he was not ill, so he had no business being in a hospital.
The world around him looked drab and dull. It hadn't always been like that, but he couldn't remember when or why it had changed. When he closed his eyes, he could still see colours: blue and pink and cream, and a rich rusty red that smelled like lemons and lavender.
He couldn't recall the exact significance of those colours and that scent, but he knew he had to get back home, where she'd be waiting for him, and everything would be fine.
Her name was on the tip of his tongue. He wet his lips, trying to remember. He kicked the lid off a trash bin, huffing in frustration.
He crossed the street when he saw a florist shop, going in to buy a pot of jonquils. After another forty-five minutes, he'd finally found the house with the cherry tree.
He patted his pockets, looking for a key. When he realised he must have forgotten it, he knocked on the door, but no one came to answer it. How foolish of him! It was the middle of the day, she must still be at work.
He sat down on the bench under the cherry tree and decided to wait for her. It was colder than he'd realized. He rubbed his hands together, blowing hot air into them, wishing he had a warmer jacket.
He pushed himself to his feet, groaning at his protesting joints and started pacing the front garden. He didn't really keep track of time, but after a while he decided to get comfortable on the bench again. She won't be long now.
He could feel fatigue settling in his bones and his head slumping to his shoulder. He jerked up, suppressing a yawn. She won't be long now.
He felt so sleepy suddenly. He'd just close his eyes for a minute.
A delicate hand touched his shoulder. "Jon," she whispered. He blinked, shielding his eyes from the bright light that suddenly invaded them.
She was standing in front of him in a lovely blue sundress, long auburn hair framing her face in soft curls. "Sansa?" he asked, his voice rough.
She beamed at him. "Come."
He took the hand she was extending to him without hesitating.

10 Quotes From Full House That Are Actually Funny | ScreenRant – Screen Rant
Full House may be a popular sitcom from the late ’80s and early ’90s, but there’s no arguing with the fact that the show is incredibly corny. Even the well-known taglines like Michelle Tanner’s “you got it dude” or Uncle Jesse exclaiming “watch the hair” can be grating after a while.
RELATED: 10 Storylines From Full House That Never Got Resolved
Despite the cheesy nature of the show, there are actually a lot of quotes that make us laugh to this day, whether we’re catching a random re-run or just looking back on the show we grew up with. Here are 10 quotes from Full House that are actually funny.

10 “My, how you’ve aged.”
Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure), and Michelle (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) are really cute siblings who light up whatever scene they’re in together. When the girls see some photos of them as kids in the season three episode “Star Search,” Stephanie thinks that she’s looking at a snapshot of her. She calls herself “adorable” and DJ says “Steph, that’s me!” Stephanie’s response? “My, how you’ve aged.”
RELATED: 10 Hilarious Full House Memes That Are Too Funny
Stephanie has a wise-beyond-her-years sense of humor and often says things in a very dry, flat tone. This is one of her best quotes that is actually hilarious.
9 “Honey, they’re not boys. They’re men. They’re Katsopolis men.”
In the season eight episode “Breaking Away,” Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) and Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin) have to adjust to their twin sons, Nicky and Alex, going to school. Becky is super emotional and says, “Honey, look at this. Two little lunch-boxes with two little handles and they’ll hold as they walk out of our lives. Jess, they’re not ready for preschool. They’re just little boys.”
RELATED: Seinfeld: The 11 Funniest George Costanza Quotes
Uncle Jesse’s reply is that they’re “Katsopolis men” and it’s a really funny quote. He’s always trying to be really macho, but he’s hiding a sweet, vulnerable side, and of course he’s just as upset about his kids growing up as his wife is.

8 “Dust… When did we have a kid?”
Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky have the cutest family, and it’s impossible to imagine their twins not being a part of Full House. But back in the second season of the show, they were simply discussing baby names.
Becky says she loves the names Prescott and Emily, and Jesse insists on Dustin. When she keeps repeating that Prescott is her preferred boy name, he says, “Dust… When did we have a kid?” This is a Full House that is actually funny since so many couples can relate to this familiar conversation.
7 “Not if it’s a girl.”
In the season three episode “Dr. Dare Rides Again,” Danny (Bob Saget) and his daughters are naming their dog (who ends up being called Comet, of course). Stephanie suggests “Mr. Dog.” When D.J. says, “Mr.Dog? Steph when you have a kid someday what are you going to name it? Mr.Baby?” Stephanie replies, “Not if it’s a girl.”

This is another quote from Full House that is actually hilarious. Stephanie’s delivery is so perfect and she really has good timing here.

6 “Bruce Springsteen is the boss.”
Danny’s season six quote is another funny one. He’s chatting with Michelle in the episode “The House Meets The Mouse” and he tells her, “Sounds like you were trying to be the boss.” She says, “The princess is the boss” and he makes his Bruce Springsteen joke.
This is one of the character’s greatest lines and it’s particularly great since it’s not about cleaning. Sure, it’s pretty funny when he goes into his clean freak mode, but this joke is a nice departure from his usual conversation. It’s even funnier since Michelle has clearly no idea who he’s talking about.
5 “Do babies get hairballs?”
Uncle Jesse asks this very funny (and totally ridiculous) question in the season one episode “Knock Yourself Out,” making this one of the actually hilarious quotes from Full House. Uncle Joey (Dave Gladstone) and Jesse are upset because Michelle is coughing a lot. Stephanie comments that it “sounds like a hairball.”
RELATED: 10 Things That Make No Sense About Full House
This is a great example of when Joey and Jesse are taking care of the girls and being really silly in the process. They love them so much that it’s tugging at our heartstrings and also making us laugh.

4 “You lost my daughter? I went to work for seven hours and you lost 33% of my children?”
This Danny Tanner quote is from the pilot and it’s another really funny one. It wouldn’t be quite so good if he hadn’t been so specific and said “33 percent of my children.” That’s Danny: specific, precise, and analytical.
It’s impossible to imagine another TV character (or even someone IRL) saying something like this. They would be too focused on the fact that their kid was nowhere to be found. Danny, however, can’t help but say this.
3 “You’re hugging me in a room with pink bunnies.”
Also from the pilot, this Uncle Jesse quote is one for the books. It’s clear that he’s having some trouble adjusting to his new life and reality: being a full-time caregiver for Danny’s three daughters.

But of course, Jesse also loves every minute of it, and he just has to get used to things.

2 “I gotta go potty.”
Michelle says this hilarious quote in the season four episode “A Pinch For A Pinch.” It’s a perfect response to what Danny is explaining. He says, “Michelle is getting an academic foundation that’s going to carry her through grades K through 12, through college, through Harvard law school. Jess, you have robbed our nation of one of the finest legal minds the supreme court has ever known.”
RELATED: Full House: 10 Uncle Jesse Quotes That Show Why He Was A Heartthrob
Michelle, being a little kid, responds the best she knows how: by saying she has to use the bathroom. It’s a priceless moment (and also a teaching one, this being Full House, since Jesse told Michelle to stand up to a bully by pinching him right back).
1 “I’ll stay home and watch public television.”
It’s off to school for Stephanie in the season one episode “The First Day of School.” When Danny asks, “Steph, don’t you want to go to school and be smart?” Stephanie says, “I’ll stay home and watch public television.”
This is definitely the funniest quote from Full House and of course it’s said by Stephanie, who is one of the most hilarious characters on the heartwarming sitcom. She just always knows the right thing to say.

Starting Over
Six
Kate could tell that something was wrong when Claire didn’t come down for breakfast. Routine was important to her to keep her grounded, and no matter what might be praying on her mind, she generally always came down to have breakfast with Kate and Aaron. She wasn’t too surprised to find that Claire wasn’t awake first like she usually was; she’d had a big night after all, but she began to worry when she didn’t respond to the sounds of the house waking up.
Once Aaron was tucking into his cereal, Kate crept up the stairs and knocked softly on Claire’s door.
“Claire? It’s breakfast time. Are you ok?”
There was no response, and Kate slowly opened the door, biting her lip and swallowing painfully at the sight that met her. Claire was curled up on her bed, hugging her knees in the foetal position, staring into space. She was still wearing yesterday’s clothes.
“What’s wrong, honey?”
Claire levered herself up to sitting and ran a hand through her tangled hair.
“I wanted it too much,” she muttered. “I wanted it too much, and then I went and sabotaged the whole thing.”
Kate came across the room and perched on the bed. Claire was tactile and always had been, especially when she was upset, but now she didn’t lean into Kate like she usually did, just staring into space, still hugging her knees.
“I don’t understand. You were really happy last night. You’d kissed him and everything.”
Claire sighed. “He knows. Aiden knows. Not about the island and all that crap, that’s not something we can ever tell anyone. But he knows about me leaving Aaron, and that I wasn’t right in the head. I’m still not right in the head. I’ve ruined everything.”
Kate didn’t know what to say. Would it be best to try and lift Claire’s spirits and talk her down, or would it be best just to let this blow over by itself? Once Claire realised that it wasn’t the be all and end all, hopefully she’d just come back to herself naturally. The trouble was, Kate didn’t feel comfortable telling her that it was all going to be all right, because she didn’t know herself.
“I’m sure it’s not as bleak as all that,” she said eventually. “Why don’t you go and take a shower and come down for breakfast? We’ll talk more about it later before Aaron comes back from school.”
Claire nodded and left the room, and Kate stayed sitting on the bed for a few minutes more.
She shook herself and went back downstairs. In a way, she really couldn’t wait for James to come at the weekend. It wasn’t that she couldn’t handle Claire’s bad episodes. She’d seen her through far worse states than this, back when Aaron had been a lot younger and needed a lot more attention, and he hadn’t realised that Mommy Claire wasn’t very well.
It was different now, though. Perhaps coming to Storybrooke had lulled them into a false sense of security and made her believe that absolutely nothing was going to go wrong, ever. They’d both been moving on with their lives and making new positive connections. She knew that it was foolish to assume that there would never be any bad moments, but there hadn’t been any bad moments for such a long time that this one had taken her by surprise.
Now that she had a support network in place whom she could rely on if she needed to - James and Miles and Richard and Desmond, wherever he might be in the world - she had lost some of her confidence in dealing with these crises herself. Just after the island, it had only been her and Claire and Carole, and whilst it had been hard, they’d got through it because they had to. There was no-one else. Now, the gang was all back together and in a good place, and it was nice to know that someone had their backs.
She went back downstairs to her now-cold toast. Aaron had finished his breakfast and was colouring at the kitchen table.
“How’s Mommy Claire?” he asked.
“She’s ok. She had a big night out last night, remember. She’ll be down in a minute.”
Aaron accepted this with his usual good nature, and sure enough, Claire came down to breakfast within a few minutes, her face clean of make-up and her wet hair tidy and brushed. That was a good sign. There had been a time just after the island when she wouldn’t even get out of bed, and it had taken all of Kate and Carole’s combined efforts to get her on her feet again. That had been the worst period of her recovery, and Kate knew that as long as she never got back to that stage again, then everything was salvageable.
Aaron was bright and chatty, asking all kinds of questions about Mr Gold that Claire answered patiently, but she hung back when it was time for him to leave for school, giving him a hug and then sending him on his way.
“Are you going to call him?” Kate asked on her way out of the door.
Claire shook her head.
“Are you going to paint today?”
Another shake. Kate didn’t say anything. Claire was withdrawing into herself again, and she wished that she knew what to do to help.
X
This pattern continued for the next couple of days. Claire would get up and be about, and she would take care of housework and making dinner and taking care of Aaron as if there was nothing wrong with the world. She was bright and bouncy around her son, and if he noticed any difference in her bearing, then he didn’t question it.
Something was still wrong, though, because she wasn’t going out. She had forced herself to go to the store for some supplies whilst Kate had been out at work, but she hadn’t gone out to her studio. She hadn’t picked up any of her art materials. For all Kate knew, she spent her days just sitting on the sofa staring into space whilst Aaron was at school and Kate was out running errands.
Kate wondered if Gold had been in touch since the date night; he would have no idea that anything was wrong. She didn’t like to pry, but she could feel the worry creeping up on her. If Claire was cutting people off and pulling back her trust, then it could be a long time before she was ready to give it again.
“Kate?”
She looked up to find Ruby waving a hand in front of her face. She’d only come into the diner to pick up coffee on her way home from the stables, but she didn’t know how long she’d been sitting at the counter, lost in her own spiralling thoughts.
“Hey, Ruby.”
“What’s up? You’re miles away and you’ve been looking worried for the past two days. And I didn’t question it when you cancelled date night last night, but now you’re here and I can tell something’s not right, so do you maybe want to talk about it?”
Kate sighed. As much as she really didn’t want to make Claire’s problems common knowledge around the town, Ruby did deserve the truth as to why she was suddenly unavailable for everything and looking like a wet weekend.
“It’s Claire,” she said eventually. “She’s going through a bad patch, and it’s all I can think about right now.”
“Well, Claire’s a big girl, I’m sure she can work it out by herself. There’s no need to run yourself into the ground worrying about her. You’ve got your own life too.”
To anyone else in any other circumstances, it would have been good advice, but Kate just shook her head. How could she tell everything to Ruby?
“It’s more complicated than that. I don’t know how to explain it. I need to make sure she’s all right.”
There must have been more desperation in her words than she’d thought, because Ruby reacted immediately.
“Ok, you need to talk.” She was already unfastening her apron and tossing it over the till. “I don’t know what’s happening in your life at the moment, but I know that you can’t go through it alone. Come with me. Granny! I’m taking a break now!”
Granny came round into the front of the diner and opened her mouth to admonish Ruby, but on seeing Kate sitting forlornly at the counter, she closed it again and gave an understanding nod.
Ruby took her hand, leading her round the back of the diner into the inn’s lounge, which was rarely used. The sofas were old and chintzy and smelled a bit damp, but they were better than nothing, and Kate sank down heavily onto one of them.
“The thing with me and Claire… It’s hard to explain. The things we’ve been through together would boggle your mind.”
Ruby shrugged. “I can deal with mind-boggling. You see all sorts here in the diner.”
“No, it’s more mind-boggling than local interest. It’s something so big, I don’t think we’ll ever be able to tell anyone everything about it. But we’re so close - it’s like a friendship forged in fire, you know?”
“Yeah, I know. I guess it’s a little like me and Granny, after my parents died.”
Kate nodded. “I delivered Aaron. I know that sounds unrelated to anything but it’s the beginning of the story. We were in the middle of nowhere, and Claire was in labour, and I had to deliver Aaron. And we were both so scared, but we got through it, and he was fine. We were all fine. Claire and I knew each other before then, but we weren’t firm friends. Not until that moment.”
“Well, if you’ve got your hands up another woman’s hoo-hah trying to catch her baby, then I imagine that brings you closer together.” Ruby’s voice was so matter of fact that Kate had to give a snort of laughter. “I’m sorry, I’ll be serious now.”
“No, it’s ok. A bit of levity’s probably needed. Anyway, a couple of months after Aaron was born, stuff happened and Claire… I don’t know what happened. I don’t want to say she was brainwashed because that sounds ridiculous but it’s the easiest way to explain it. There was a guy, a really toxic guy, and he took her away from everyone. He made her leave Aaron behind. I don’t know what happened, but he screwed her up pretty badly.”
Ruby nodded. “Ok. So, something bad happened to Claire and you became Aaron’s mom, right?”
“Yeah. And I was his mom for three years, until I realised that I had to go and help Claire and get her back. It would have been so easy to keep being Aaron’s mom, to pretend that he was mine and pretend that Claire had never existed. So many other people were pretending that she had never existed and that she didn’t matter; it felt like I was the only one who cared about her. So, I went, and I found her, and I got her out of the hellhole she was living in, even though everyone else had given up on her. She’d given up on herself; she’d accepted that she was never going to see Aaron again and she’d never be a mom again. And it took a long time to set her right again, but we did it. And now we’re here, and now everything’s finally looking up, but when there are setbacks, I feel like I can’t let her work these things out by herself, because it feels like I’m giving up on her. I can’t give up on her now. Not when I was the only person who didn’t give up on her before.”
Ruby didn’t reply. She just put her arms around Kate, pulling her in close and stroking her hair.
“It’s all right,” she said. “I understand. But it’s not just you anymore. You’ve got other people to help you. You’ve got me. You don’t need to try and shoulder all this on your own.”
Kate nodded against Ruby’s chest. “I know, and I’m so grateful for that.”
“I think you do need to let Claire get through this on her own. Not like, abandoning her. Still being there and supporting her. But you know, she needs to grow by herself. She might not thank you for being a knight in shining armour all the time. If she wants to get better, which I think she does, then she’ll want to be able to take some time and think things out by herself.”
“Yeah, James says the same thing. He thinks I hover too much and Claire’s too nice to tell me to shove off and let her figure it out by herself. I’m used to making all the decisions to keep both of us safe, and I guess I forget that she can make those decisions herself now.”
“Maybe there’s something in that. Maybe you should just talk to her and ask her what she needs. If she needs your help, then she needs your help.”
Kate sighed. “I’m sorry. I guess you weren’t really expecting a package deal when you got me. It’s not just me, it’s me and my son and my friend as well.”
“Life’s not always plain sailing,” Ruby said. “Besides, complications make things interesting.” She kissed the top of Kate’s head, hugging her closer. “Being conventional is boring.”
“Are you sure you’re ok with this?”
“Yes. Being with you might be different to being with all my other previous boyfriends and girlfriends, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want it. We just have to adapt. Everyone does.”
“How can you be so wise?”
“I grew up with Granny. Sometimes these things rub off on you without you realising. Believe me, no-one else in town would think I was wise.”
They stayed in their embrace for a long while. It was a long time since Kate had had the luxury of allowing herself to be vulnerable with another person, and perhaps longer since she’d had someone she felt safe being vulnerable with.
She hoped that there was still the chance that Claire could find the same thing with Gold.
X
Kate had not been expecting anyone to call, so the knock on the door came somewhat out of the blue, but it wasn’t unheard of for Ruby to drop in and say hello. There was usually warning of such an occurrence, even if only by a few minutes, but given everything that was going on and their heart to heart the previous day, Kate wouldn’t have been surprised to see her girlfriend on the doorstep.
It wasn’t Ruby. It was Gold, and Kate took a step back in surprise.
“Kate.” He nodded respectfully. “I was wondering if Claire was there.”
Kate looked over her shoulder. Claire was standing frozen in the kitchen doorway, out of Gold’s sight, but she had no doubt recognised his voice. She shook her head imperceptibly, and Kate looked back to Gold.
“She can’t come to the door right now.”
“Ok. I see.” He looked flat and forlorn, and Kate’s heart had to go out to him. Although outwardly he seemed to be his usual immaculately put together self, she could see the signs of worry on him, the mussed hair where he’d been running his fingers through it, and the slightly crooked tie.
“I just wanted to make sure that she was all right,” he continued. “Ever since our date, she hasn’t been returning any of my messages or calls, and I haven’t seen her out at the studio. I didn’t want something to have happened to her.”
Kate bit her lip. “She’s all right. She’s just…” She tailed off; she had no idea how to explain what was going on. It wasn’t Gold’s fault that Claire had retreated back into herself, but at the same time, it wasn’t entirely Claire’s fault either. It was her brain playing tricks on her. Gold knew she had mental health issues, so he would hopefully understand, but she didn’t even know where to start.
“If she doesn’t want to see me again, then I will obviously respect that. I just wanted to make sure that she was ok.” There was a long and screamingly awkward pause. “If it was something I did, then I’m really very sorry.”
“No, it’s not your fault.” The words came out more vehemently than Kate intended, and Gold looked somewhat taken aback. “Sorry, that didn’t come out right. What I mean is… Things with Claire are complicated right now. She just needs a bit of time. Don’t give up on her.” She thought back to her conversation with Ruby in the diner, about how she had been the only one who had not given up on Claire. “Please, please don’t give up on her. She just needs to sort her head out a bit.”
Gold smiled, and there was relief in the expression.
“Well, could you please tell her that whenever she’s ready, I’d love to take her out again.”
“I’ll be sure to do that.”
He walked away down the path, and Kate watched him go before closing the door and turning back towards Claire in the kitchen doorway. She had both arms wrapped around her chest, hugging herself tightly as if she needed to physically keep herself together. She disappeared back into the kitchen without saying a word, and Kate followed her in, leaning against the counter as Claire sat down at the table, staring hard at the fruit bowl. She looked like she was doing her utmost not to cry.
“I don’t know what to do,” she said eventually. “I want this so badly. I really like him, and he really likes me, and these past few days have just been utterly miserable for the both of us. He wants to make a go of it and so do I.”
Kate didn’t ask the obvious question of ‘why don’t you?’ It was time to let Claire think it through herself.
“I just don’t want anyone to get hurt further down the line,” she said, wiping her eyes. “If we start this again now, how long will it be before something happens?”
“Maybe nothing will happen,” Kate suggested. “What kind of something do you think is going to happen?”
“I don’t know. That’s part of the problem. What if we make a go of it and he decides that I’m not worth the hassle after all?”
She had a point. This was only the very beginning of her and Gold’s relationship and the first time that he was dealing with her problems.
“There’s always the chance that he won’t decide that, though. Maybe you need to look on the positive side. Maybe, taking risks on new things like this is all part of living life.”
Claire nodded. “Yes, I know what you mean. And I do want to really live again. These past few days, I’ve just been existing.” She fell silent again, tracing the shapes of the apples in the fruit bowl with her fingertips. “I need to think.”
Kate left her to it, but in the wake of Gold’s visit and his evident concern, she had far more hope for a happier outcome than she’d had before.
