Brett has been amazing in this episode, as with all the others, but a full scene where he doesn't say anything, but you understand everything... ALL THE AWARDS! The balloon popping is the icing on this scene

I can see this relationship becoming something wonderful though

look, call me basic if you will, but i love how simple they are in the sense that they've both suffered the same grief and are healing from the same grief and because of that they have this really subtle intimacy. they never say it out loud because they don't need to! they just have this instinct like the way they're always checking up on each other. the way they always know the right thing to do for each other because its also the right thing for them both. its the parallel trauma! its the parallel healing! and one day they Will Realise! but honestly, i don't think they're at a point yet where either of them are ready for that. they're both only just kinda now engaging in romance activities with others. i reckon, in season 3 one of them will Realise and in Season 4 the other will. I'd put money on Ted realising first, probably because bicon sassy will call him out on it and also him being a rom-communist and all. but yeah, honestly i do understand why a lot of ppl don't want it to happen or don't see it and i think that's cos we're not really meant to yet and hey, maybe they'll never really be a thing and i'm talking out my ass, but i do believe that they're soulmates in a very tangible way, even if that intimacy never expresses itself as a romance. just look at the visual parallels in the funeral episode! the show gave us an image of rebecca being unable to talk until she saw ted walking down a church aisle toward her, like, c'mon! anyways, jason and hannah have such lovely chemistry. all the photos of them at the golden globes are just 🥺 anyways, i love them they make me smile so much!!
