#this is like when i watched Some Like It Hot and was jumpscared #disclaimer that this is a 1969 movie and it thus has random bursts of Problematic in the flavor of that era obvi #and the polyam stuff seems to be acceptable by way of 'comedic musical' #and they end up monogamous at the end because one is a Wanderer who cant help but Wander #but still damn it was a lot of fun #it does do that thing where it's an old musical and meanders #it's just like a collection of misadventures #hootin and hollerin and slapstick #and polyandry #vintage movies #western movie #clint eastwood #lee marvin #jean seberg #queer media #<- putting it there because although nothing is outright queer as we'd know it today #it's surprisingly queer for the time #paint your wagon #ok bye again logging back off 👋🏾❤️‍🩹
