finished sandman. that sure was a bunch of different stories one after another. kinda makes you wonder if it would have been better suited being a comi-

#about me #mister gaiman dont @ me #anyway yeah my main problems are like entirely structural. its Too faithful to the originals comics #you cant really turn a different medium into another and have it still work theres gotta be edits #this show was so disconnected i knew immediately every time we'd started a new comic #huge momentum problems the individual stories worked fine but they kinda just didnt connect #in the way that tv shows do at least #they had reocurring characters sure but like. the story didnt continue #it was just different shit happens and then dream shows up #i think the reason people liked the corinthian the most is he was the most consistent throughline #he actually managed to stay relevant between the episodes #kinda felt like the only real antagonist everyone else was just gone within the episode #finishing with calliope tho i dont understand. like genuinely man this needed some sort of reason why we were jumping around #cus as is it just feels like a badly written drama #if you gave it some nerrative framing and made the jumping around intentional i think it could work #but dont pretend like theyre interconnected cus theyre not #starting in the fishbowl is also terrible cus it makes us think thats the overarching plot and then its done halfway through and your like #oh
