having been a kid who read a lot but borrowed like 90% of their books from the library kinda sucks because now I'll be like "oh rereading *book* would be cool" but can I ? no because I don't own it and usually don't even remember the name

#wanting to reread books i read as a kid at 18 probably seems weird #but like i was reading way above my age #also ive got autism which is a developmental disability and therefore affects my development #so with some things i was like developmentally advanced as like a kid but then i stalled and now im kind of behind #and that applies to reading #i cannot read most books meant for adults like smth in my brain just like wont in the same way a kid wouldnt #idk if that makes sense #so yeah i read a lot of books meant for pre teens #i find “classics” easier to read though especially if their horror
