i haven't posted in two and a half years and i had forgotten the email and password to my account but i suddenly missed ts2 so much! the problem is my tumblr doesn't let me see either normal inbox messages or chat messages, which sucks.

i don't have the game installed anymore as my computer had to be formatted a while ago and it'll be a huge pain in the butt to set up everything again. i do want to do it at some point though.

it's so cool to see in my dashboard that there are still many, many active sims 2 creators and even some familiar faces!

i hope you guys are all well and i hope to start playing and creating again soonish <3

I am missing the sims 2 I stopped playing back in 2017? School and work just became so busy and my laptop broke. I'd love to come back but I don't even know where/how. Most laptops don't have disc drives anymore. You have to get a separate disc drive with a cable. Also I don't know if you can get sims 2 off orgin. Do you know? And plus the tech issues. How can you play sims 2 on these new machines? Any advice?

Hello and welcome back! There's a Sims 2 Graphic Cards board at LeeFish with some very helpful technical posts. You should be able to find recommendations about what specs to look for in a new computer as well as how to set everything up once you start installing the game.

Somewhere there's a tumblr post that links to all the abandonware Sims games, I can't find it right now but Old Games Download has ts2 here. Good luck o/
