i need to draw kh. i need to draw oc art. i need to draw like some sort of portfolio piece that shows off all my impressive technical skills while also being an original character design that doesn’t raise questions or strike anything taboo. but i don’t have the inspiration for that

#i guess the solution is draw my safest most mary sue-ish looking oc (plume) doing something normal #(normie person i’m giving my elevator pitch doesn’t need to know she’s insane & will beat someone to death with a magic baseball bat) #i’ve been trying to draw her for months now. but i keep getting sidetracked and turning it into something else #peach rambles #ugh man it’s so frustrating. like LOOK at some of the stuff i’ve done this year. i can’t show off any of it #i mean like. strelitzia is safe. strelitzia’s design is normal and appealing and not obviously kingdom hearts the disney rpg #but it is still fanart. and apparently you can’t sell yourself as a promising artist w fanart #bc they want to see that you have the imagination required to create an original design #(<— is not even trying to do art professionally. why do i care about this?? idk #maybe just in case. maybe i just want the potential to brag professionally just in case) #none of my own oc drawings atm are presentable #idkkkkkk #ugh
