I like to think vigilante unicorn mask is canon except Midoriya just saw Overhaul with Eri out in public, thought it was super shady but didn't have any masks on him so he grabbed a cheap dollar store mask from whatever store he was in and Bam, Sir Unicorn appears around the corner, askes if she needs help, beats up Overhaul for being shady, and whisks the princess off to her castle! (Police station).

I'd have to ask @universalrainbow if they were okay with me using some of their concepts, but yeah I like the idea too.

however Izuku wouldn't be able to just use any cheap dollar store mask. they would have to be carved out of wood, since paper masks don't work with his quirk.

so either, stores would have to be selling carved masks since Changeling is popular, or it could've been an unfinished or untested mask Izuku had on him when the event occurred, and it was the only one he had.

but yeah, I can see it.
