my controversial black christmas take: fleshing out billy’s character and personality is not an inherently bad thing, nor am i discouraging people from doing it — i’ve seen interpretations of him that i’ve sincerely enjoyed — but i Do get pretty aggravated when i see people exclusively focusing on him rather than the feminist / pro-choice themes of the movie or. you know. the young women, who we spend 95% of the movie with 😗 💨
