my GOD I am tired of feeling so DIRECTIONLESS!!

my days have been spent looking for any and all reasons to avoid applying for jobs and then fiercely battling that disappointment in myself ... while my parents were away I said I was going to start actually cooking and doing chores again and not mooching like I have been for the past three months but that also did not happen .... I have been waking up later and later, doing fewer and fewer things with the hours I actually give myself in a day and even my procrastination on things that I usually love isn’t making me feel any of the inspiration that it used to!!

add on to that the whole Chris situation and my life feels like it will be stuck forever. For the past three years I’ve been viewing him as endgame and now that it’s finally here (thanks to Natalie, not any initiative on my part) I’m just .... avoiding it. I could sit down and do a whole “we’re going to be exclusive and try long distance when I’m gone and really, honestly go for it this time” but that kind of involves seeing each other more than once a week? Plus the idea of actually making this a Relationship fills me with such intense dread, because this one is going to be a real decider, and like all relationships you either get married or break up and at this point I don’t want either of those things with him.

The two people I’ve dated have been such motivated, accomplished people that they have pushed me to better myself, and though that should inherently be a core trait of my own, it’s something I think I very much need in the people I surround myself with, and especially a life partner.
