Tokyo Revengers Theory: Who Will Fight Who in the final battle?

Hey everyone, I still haven't processed the reveal of who's in Mikey's gang. Seriously, I'm still shocked, but I still want to make a little theory or prediction of who will fight who in the final battle of ToMan against Kanto Manj.

crazy theory and even more crazy and huge kinda analysis under the cut:

So, let’s start. I‘ll make a list with Kanto’s names and who I think will fight them and an explanation.

1. Manjiro Mikey Sano vs Takemichi Hanagaki and/or ToMan

I think it’s quite obvious, logical and expected by everyone that Takemichi will end up facing Mikey, but there is a clue in chapter 120 that could tell us how this fight might end: In that chapter, Chifuyu says that no one can face, fight or defeat Mikey alone, BUT that the ToMan, as a group, maybe can.

2. Kakucho Kaku-chan Hitto vs Chifuyu Matsuno and/or Mizo Boys

Kakucho and Chifuyu are people characterized by their loyalty. Both usually occupy the role of "right-hand man" of the person they have respect for. However, Kakucho never really questions why he does it, while Chifuyu always applies a little more rationality and calm to situations. In his own words: Chifuyu is a friend and a partner, Kakucho is a servant. I would love them to fight alone, but the boys from Mizo High are there for a reason, and I think it's ‘cause they could also show that being childhood friends and being loyal to someone doesn't have to end in tragic things or in a toxic and hierarchical relationship. Also, Kakucho is damn strong, it might take more than one person to defeat him.

3. Haruchiyo Sanzu Akashi vs Senju Akashi and/or Takeomi Akashi

This family definitely has to solve their conflicts and this is the perfect time for it. I know Takeomi isn't really in the gang, but I think he's the most likely to join it: Takeomi hasn't had his redemption arc yet, and every time he appears in the manga we see him making the same mistakes over and over again, so it's time for him to finally take over his responsibility as an adult and as an older brother, and bring Sanzu back with their respective apologies. It may be that Takeomi and Senju fight together with Sanzu or that only one takes care of Sanzu and the other of Wakasa and Benkei; but if they fought together to bring their brother back it would still be an epic scene.

4. Hajime Koko Kokonoi vs Seishu Inupi Inui

Obviously my favorite toxic couple must have their own fight. No, seriously speaking, this pair has some unsolved tensions. Koko is not happy and Inupi knows it, he is going to try to save him from the dark path of gangs and dirty business although Koko does not seem interested in being saved, ‘cause in his own words: He chose Mikey, and go with Mikey is "bet on the winning horse".

P.S. There are strong rumors of Kokonoi's death, and well, it may be possible that he dies from a Hanma attack. Hanma has the role of yugekitai, meaning that this mf has Mikey's permission to sneak up and attack people without being seen. Maybe Hanma will try to attack Inui, and Koko will intervene, or maybe he’ll attack Koko if Inui manages to talk him out of fighting.

I hope, for the sake of my sanity, that neither of them die.

5. Haitani Brothers vs Kawata Twins and/or Mitsuya and Hakkai

Okay, don't get me wrong please. I would be the Number 1 Fan to see the Haitians fight against the Kawatas and I hope that happens: personally I would love to see how their fighting styles clash; the Kawatas fight to have fun, not to win, while the Haitians say the only thing that matters are the results.

But there is something that makes me doubt a bit and that is Ran's somewhat curious interactions with Hakkai and Mitsuya. It seems that Ran has a particular interest in the captain of the second division.

That, added to the presence of Mochi and the Kawata twins in the fight (remember that they had a past conflict that was pending) make me think that perhaps the ones who will face each other this time will be Ran and Rindou against Mitsuya and Hakkai. Let's remember that Hakkai considers Mitsuya as his real older brother instead of Taiju, so the confrontation against the Haitani may show that you don't need to be a blood brother to care about or be a good influence on the other.

6. Shion Madarame and Kanji Mochi Mochizuki vs Haruki Pah Hayashida and Ryohei Peh Hayashi

Mochi has previously been featured as a monster of brute force. Pah and Peh are not the smartest, but they are some of the strongest in ToMan. Peh knocked out Shion and several gang members in the Tenjiku fight, so I'm guessing Shion is coming for revenge. (Though he'll probably get knocked out in one punch again)

The other option is:

6.1. Kanji Mochi Mochizuki vs Kawata Twins

As part of the Kawata twins' past, we learned that they had a gang called “Soguaku” and they were never able to defeat “Jugem”, Mochi's gang, so they are a little afraid of him. Maybe this time they can defeat him and finally close their confrontation.

7. Wakasa Waka Imaushi and Keizo Benkei Arashi vs Senju Akashi and/or Takeomi Akashi

I think the fact that surprised me the most about Mikey's gang was seeing Waka and Benkei joining their ranks. I always thought they would become part of ToMan due to Senju but it wasn't like that. In the end, I think it makes sense: The person they respected the most was Shinichiro, and Mikey is his brother, it kinda makes sense that they follow him as a memorial to Shin.

Anyway, whether Senju or Takeomi fight against them it will surely be incredibly emotional: Wakasa and Benkei were always with Senju and they were even the highest commanders of her gang, Senju and Waka share fighting style and he himself was referring to Senju as "The princess of Brahaman", he even asked Takemichi to take care of her.

For their part, Takeomi, Wakasa and Benkei were the founding members of Black Dragons 1st Generation, and sadly the three seem to have completely lost the spirit of that first generation, the spirit that Shinichiro wanted among the members of his gang.

Personally, I think I prefer that the one who starts the fight against Wakasa and Benkei is Senju, and that at a certain point in the fight she is relieved by Takeomi so that she can freely confront Sanzu.

8. Hanma Shuuji vs anyone

As I mentioned before, Hanma has the role of Yugekitai in the Kanto Maji Gang, this means that he can attack whoever he wants without being seen and without warning. We also know that Hanma has no honor, and it is quite likely that he will attack with a weapon. In Tokyo Revengers, batons, bats, and knives are usually seen as weapons carried by cowards, people who don't want to deal with responsibility, or people who are too desperate, so it's highly likely that Hanma will use a weapon to attack someone.

Take the following with a lot of skepticism, as they are just rumors based on a fan theory: Some evidence indicates that the people who will possibly die in this arc could be Kokonoi, Wakasa, Mitsuya and Ran. I personally think that if they die, it may be due to a surprise attack from Hanma. Maybe Senju and Inui manage to bring back Waka and Koko respectively, Hanma will take it as a betrayal and might attack them. In the case of Mitsuya and Ran I see it more complicated for that to happen, but in fact they can die protecting their younger brothers, whether they are blood related or not.
