The problem with all this delicious sad s4 rayllum is that it's such a different flavour to s1-3 rayllum that it is quite hard to channel my enthusiasm for it into my existing fics. F

#tdp s4 #i wonder how many new ideas will spawn once i watch s4 #I've already had one timeskip based idea lol #it's like completely horrible but it exists #but yeah the specific pain and angst infused vibes of s4 rayllum just #do not correspond to any of my current fics #ceracurist is aged up rayllum but theyve not been through the same trials as canon rayllum so it doesn't feel the same either #even my unpublished moon gardens rayllum doesn't work. theyve been through some serious shit but they went through it Together #s4 is just an entirely new rayllum flavour and while i love it i am also mourning its lack of relevance to my existing projects #like as far as the piaj rayllum vibe is concerbed tdp basically ended at s3 #any further updates beyond that....i don't know that theyre going to help me write it #piaj is now in a spiritual way a fic for a completed canon #i do appreciate how the writers have successfully made such distinct and discrete arcs #so that arc 2 feels completely different from arc 1 #it's inconvenient for my monster writing project though lol
