STUDENT'S LIFE

"Assignments, Essays, School Activities, Reporting, Summative Test, Requirements in different subjects, Quizzes, Thesis and Periodical Exam."

These are the words you often hear and encounter particularly in school. If you still didn't encounter one of these words, then probably you didn't experience the life of being a student.

Being a student:

👉You should manage your time.

👉Go to school and restrain from absences and cutting classes.

👉Make an output and perform the different task required and pass it on before deadline.

In exchange to obtain knowledge, good grades and to pass the subject, which are the common goals of every student like you.

Now, I will share to you my life experiences as a student.

At the age of five, I started my kindergarten when my parents sent me in a private school just in our place, and my mother always accompanied me in going to school and going home. I am eager to go to school everyday and persevere to study my lessons and I can still remember yet, it is still fresh to reminisce my teacher gave me a declamatory piece entitled "A Glass of Cold Water" that was fully written in a one piece of a yellow paper to memorize and to be presented for the upcoming graduation ceremony.

I was shocked and was like "Oh my god! It's quite long and difficult ma'am 😱" I exclaimed. Then my teacher replied "I know you can do it 😊" I considered those words as my motivation and it made me to became inspired. (By the way, I'm six-years old that time.) My mother always wakes me up early morning to memorize the piece as believed that it's good to memorize every dawn.

With the help, support and guidance of my parents, as well as my teacher, I successfully presented my declamation and reaped a standing ovation from the audience. I received an award which is the "Best In Memory". In my Kindergarten 1 and 2 was ranked as 2nd honor and I made my parents proud through my achievements.

I was also an active pupil during my elementary days. Without vaunting, I still ranked as an honor pupil from grade I -VI. I also satisfactorily joined different contest whenever there's an extra-curricular activities held in school. Like Tula, Balagtasan, Masining na Pagkukwento which is done every month of August which is the celebration of Buwan ng Wika to compete with other schools. I'm also a badminton athlete and one of the staff of the school paper as a photojournalist. The unforgettable experience I ever had is when I was a sixth-grader I joined the 32nd National Super Quiz Bee (Makabayan Category) awarded as Division Champion in Valencia City and 2nd placer in the Regional Level held in Cagayan de Oro City participated with excellent participants coming from different schools. It's a great opportunity and privilege to joined and won the competition without expectation.

When I stepped into Junior High School everything has changed. My last achievement is when I was on my Grade -VII I'm still an active student but I can sense that I already change since I transferred to another school. My life is so miserable due to problems and was trapped in a painful situation that affects my studies. Unlike when I was on my elementary years, I am persevere and inspired to obtain an achievements. I easily lose hope and trust within myself. I'm no longer an achiever. But I already realize too many things.

Now, I'm already a Grade -12 Senior High School Humanities and Social Sciences student and at the same time one of the graduating student of the school year 2017-2018. Instead of saying, "I want to quit" try to say "I can do it". Being a student is not that easy. But you have to be responsible in doing your obligation. At first, you will find it difficult but the fruit of hardwork will give you satisfaction. In my situation, everything has change, due to the different challenges and obstacles in life but I won't let that to change and ruin my future again. Those achievements I gained before serves as my motivation to return the best in me. I considered it as a beautiful memory that gave a lesson.
