he's one of the most guys of all time.

He's voiced by Tetsuya Kakihara, who also voices Elmott in gbf.

He's part of one of my favorite song of the game, where he has a gay duet about vampire yearning with Tasuku (voiced by Takuya Sato, of Lu Woh's fame on here). And who wouldn't want a gay vampire duet with those two.

For the "fun" fact about him, Azuma is a cuddle therapist. It means that he sleeps with people to listen to their woes. He says the job is fully innocent, while he's also treated like a pariah for being into a shady branch of jobs. This job also gives him a lot of connection and we're basically sure he has at least some clients who dip into illegal stuff because he can pull some strings to have a false ID made for example. Despite his job being "wholesome" he also talks a lot about having sex with people and trying all sort of things so there's that too.

But the reality of Azuma is that he's actually extremely closed off. His family died when he was really young and none of his relative wanted to take him in, so he basically wrote himself down as fully alone and unable to connect with people. Still, he craves for human connections, and it's why he picked his job. He can't personally be vulnerable about himself, but he's here to listen to anyone and help them going through their problems. He also have night terrors when he sleeps alone, which is another reason he picked up this job.

he dropped everything to become an actor in our company after seeing two members of the Autumn Troupe fight for each other, and realize he was kinda jealous of them, of being able to connect with others, to trust others while vulnerable.

He joined the Winter troupe afterward, troupe famous for struggling to connect with one another because they all have raised their walls super high. Azuma himself struggles to fit in, as everytime he feels like he's getting too close he worries of what he might lose and he ends up shutting himself down, ghosting people, thinking about leaving.

But he's fine. This is fine. The Winter Troupe has his back.

Anyway the whole "therapist so he can read you like an open book, giving the illusion of intimacy to others because he's damn touch starved, will be the type to throw sex and flirty jokes at you to distract you from seeing him as vulnerable, while also in mourning" means that in my perfect gbf x a3 collab event that will happen one day i want him and Belial to meet. They'll drive psych warfare on each other and/or have sex and i need to see it for reasons.

As for dangerous part this is my favorite bit about it. Sakyo in this scene is a Yakuza btw and they're playing a Yakuza themed boardgame:

Fun fact! when i sleep with some of my a3 plush (usually my top 5 fav charas), it's ALWAYS Hisoka falling off the bed. ALWAYS.

and i don't know if i should read it as "he's sneaking out to steal my marshmallows" or "for a guy who has a history of falling from very high place at night you might want to avoid fucking doing that"

but sometimes Chikage does disappear and i'm just >:o

he truly is just lying around rn huh

but yes <3 the starting incident of a3 is that MC, Izumi, has to save the old theater of his father, because after her father disappeared 10 years ago, everyone left the theater and there was no one left to run it but a Manager who doesn't know what he's doing. Except that when Izumi arrives, turns out that by now the theater has been taken care of by a Yakuza (Sakyo) who has been paying for the fees of the theater and its associated dorm for ~Mysterious Reasons~ and therefore, also has to pay a debt for it, which he demands Izumi to cover, else he'll turn the old theater into a cabaret in order to be able to pay this debt up.

but because Izumi is touched by a new actor of the company's passion (Sakuya), and remembering how precious theater was to her before, she decides to take the challenge and actually restore the theater to its glory day, and make it a viable business enough to cover the debt.

And eventually you learn Sakyo actually really wants Izumi to succeed, because when he was a kid and was very poor, he used to come to the theater and the actors there used to let him stay here during the rehearsals, and he fell in love with theater then -- and with the young daughter of the director of the theater as well (wink wink).

But therefore once poverty led him to take drastic decisions into a life of crime, he felt like he didn't deserve to belong with the company nor with theater anymore, but once he was stable economically, and he saw the theater struggle, he started to pour money into it to save it -- even if it was a vain endeavor.

And so when Izumi realizes all of that she challenges him instead to join her company in the Autumn Troupe, because he truly cares about the company, and if anything, he should reclaim his childhood dream rather than let the circumstances of his life dictate how he lives it now.

And Sakyo's themes are pretty much a lot about how he feels too old to carry on his dream (he's 30 but he's one of the oldest ppl of the company so he's complexed about it), and feels like his hands are too dirty for it, and he has to reclaim that it's never too late to figure what he wants to do with his life, even if he feels a generational gap with the rest of his troupe for instance. And also about the remaining trauma that it is to have grown up in poverty, i would argue.

But yeah he's a Yakuza still, it also means we're supported by his Yakuza gang, and eventually at some point the son of his boss joined our company (Azami) and it was a whole lot of trouble since Sakyo basically was like a second dad to him and huh. Azami doesn't have a good relationship with either of his dads.

But yeah therefore, we have a Yakuza, two counting Azami, in our crew.

and they're not even the weirdest parts of the company.

(we also have two honest to god spies in the company, so like, yaknow, that puts things into perspective.)

also fun fact he's voiced by Wataru Hatano (who voices Randall in gbf, if it explains why i'm slightly feral about him). His songs there are delightful, i def recommand his first solo, and his duet with Hisoka where he plays the villain because it's sooo good one of my fav songs ever

he's one of my favorite character in a3 because his arc genuinely ruined me. He's introduced as an antagonist who specifically is coming to the company to destroy it from the inside in order to harm Hisoka (who's been with us for a year, who's amnesiac, and whom we then learn is Chikage's adoptive brother, and that the incident that caused his amnesia also brought the death of their older sibling, and Chikage thought it was all Hisoka's fault), but huh oh! turns out, he caught Feelings and now he has a found family he's ready to kill for. (literally). And as he understands that he was hurting his brother over a misunderstanding, he's also ridden with guilt and also still looking into the situation that took his brothers away from him, even if he has to dirty his hands to figure it out. and on top of that he lies all the time, he's constantly telling some new stories, mostly to hide his real job and identity but also because he's incapable of being honest, it's too vulnerable, and at this point lying comes much more easily than not ect.... and you know me, i love a good liar when i see one. (and when he's flirty he makes my brain shortcircuit because he's really the type of flirting hard at once, pretending to be your boyfriend, and then go "ahah but of course i'm joking. Or am i." and i hate him so much (lovingly))

so you know me. a Liar with a strained relationship with his sibling whom he tried to destroy. how could it not make me go slightly insane.

so yes you have taste anon. Thank you for understanding it. I want to kiss him so bad it makes me look stupid.
