be very self indulgent, when its clear that you're enjoying yourself making it, ppl will enjoy it too (or at least from my experience lmao)

at least watch a bit of each of the empires members so you know how to characterize them :) or don't and just project whatever the heck u want onto ur characters sdfvghsdfvgh

honestly idk how i make mcyt aus for the most part, I just go "OOO OKOK IMAGINE THIS CONCEPT" and then I bounce stuff off my friends to see what sticks and what only stays in the concepting phase
