I genuinely think that Bustopher is a nice and friendly cat under all his rigamarole and bluster, he just has a hard time of it because he's a little dense in the "I forget I have privilege on occasion" way, and isn't around other cats much.

#idk i dont like the characterization that he is any way ashamed of the junkyard cats #because if he was why in hell would he visit them for? #this is especially popular for those who theorize alonzo misto or victoria relations - like if bustopher's ignoring you #he probably a. literally did not see you because he's blind af or b. is doing his own thing and gets wrapped up in his own performance #i've said it once i'll say it again: bustopher is tugger in 30 years #bustopher just hangs around gentleman's clubs and was probably raised in purebred human households #he literally is just awkward because he hasn't really been socialized and is used to things revolving around him #extemporize back chat #i genuinely think he's nice and just a braggart on occasion but he's also one to feed literally every cat #who he comes across #he's just a jolly old fat cat who likes to eat
