The more I think abt it, the more I realize how similar feeling RWBY and The Chilling Tales of White Feminism Sabrina are

They're both crowed as progressive for their women majority cast, but the usage of those characters is anything but

Both have a weak magic system despite it being a major part of their world (semblances are minor magics fight me)

Both have the most baffling worldbuilding I've seen outside of fucking Bright

Both drop plots constantly, especially the interesting ones (looking at you, c plot murder mystery)

Both have protagonists that are so dull and irritating I've wished suffering upon them and much preferred side or background characters

Both's attempts at decent romance have made me gag

Both are misogynistic while simultaneously throwing its men under the bus to make it "better"

Both have queer writers that write absolute dogshit (Roberto w his incest/underage fetish and Kiersi w her trans and acephobia)

Both started out as silly bad shows that quickly turned into genuine rage bc holy racism batman
