sotasota was voted 9th place on model press 2024 national little brother ranking!

but i realized ive never really gotten little brother vibes from sota? but maybe its bc sota doesnt act as cute offstage and to senpais like keito does?? (he tsukkomis all the members to death regardless of age...) so do u have any sota moments that make u think "ahhh baby brother so-chan🥰"?

Visuals wise I do think Sota looks like a little brother type bc he's very cute. (he knows this and use it to his advantage at being azatoi when he wants something)

but since we're fantaro who are too used to him being a cheeky smartass, the spell doesn't work on us anymore lol

but in fanta, he looks childish when he's paired with Sekai-san

he tsukkomis Sekai-san too but never tries to outsmart him the way Sota does with other members. Whenever Sota has a chance to talk he would usually overpowers everyone else but when he's with Sekai-san he kinda steps down and Sekai is the one who takes the wheel and conversely poke Sota here and there.

Like in this radio episode where he says that he uses "boku" most of the time and doesn't use "ore" much because he doesn't want to sound too rough. And when he's with his parents or childhood friends, he doesn't even use both and instead use his name like a third person. "Sota will do that..." Which Sekai really made fun of wwww

But I wouldn't say Sekai thinks of Sota as a little brother kind of relationship (which is why I chose childish). Unlike with Keito where Sekai is definitely the senpai, with Sota he has a more...mutual respect relationship. Where both of them acknowledge each other's abilities in their own field. Sota respects Sekai as his senpai in the industry but since Sekai is dabbling into seiyuu the past year, Sota is technically the senpai in voice/vocal work. So both of them have their own leverage over each other

((idk technical things about voice work but i can understand that sota's vocal ability is good. i mean, this is the vocal sekai chose so ofc sota is nothing less than great. but to be able to have a leverage against Sekai, adds this into one of the long list why Sota is amazing genius))

Also, Sota is very capable by himself and has shown his own worth. So instead of looking at Sota as the youngest member to look after, I think the leaders rely on Sota to keep the troublesome kids in line *cough* Keito & Yusei *cough*

This has become a SekaSota dynamics rambling instead of Sotasota being little brother lol

But i guess Sotasota does have his little brother moments during the occasional times where he wants to be doted on like in the gif or this live cast 🥰
