and yeah i fucking loved it. loved him as batman. he played such a good early years bruce wayne i could rant and gush about it forever. important to my health. big yay, maybe even..... my favourite live action yay to date?

#GREAT characterisation GREAT directors style GREAT return to detective genre FANTASTIC acting from the whole cast #(even tho the teen wolf twins being there threw me off more than anything else in the movie) #i know there's a post going around saying it's a good representation bc op could see this bruce wayne adopting far too many kids like in #the comics but YOU KNOW WHTA YEAH. YEAH EXACTLY THAT #and problems that i do see people having about this version can all be put down to: this is a prequel. not child batman #but still Young. still early in 'vigilante' life #and i think that works really fucking well #i think and am hoping that they get another film and it is on the flying graysons & court of owls #at the same time??? you might ask #Yes. #also man i want to backhand this batman #the others i was like yeah objectively attractive muscle guy cool #this one??? twilight guy batman????? i want to stab him and bite him and kick him in the ribs and dose him up on scare gas and attack him an #god that scene where the police are crowded around him and almost take of his mask i was like YEA DO IT THEN BREAKING HIS ARM DO IT #fuckin. bark bark #im not into robert p but i am into being a horrible sadist towards strong men and i think it'd be cute if i just. if i could just. #gently cup his face after slapping him like five times #and give him a warm bath and rub massage oils into his back and dislocate his shoulder #u know #and and and growing up i LOVED catwoman. like so fucking much. but as the years went by and literally #every movie/tv show version of her fucking Sucked i just got more and more bored of her character #this movie got her. fucking perfect. so fucking perfect #looking at selina's early years in the comics and how tumultuous they are #(early years being early catwoman career as well) this all worked into that so well #it's a bit of a deviation but i think works in really well #she's realistic. yes there are times she needs saving but those moments and how she is strong in the face of them and her choices afterwards #are Everything to selina's character. she is such a devoted friend and seeing how driven she was for her 'friend' in the movie #really felt so fucking good and in character (of course... friend being the official term when it kinda feels more than that. Still) #the balance between her being sexy but her own character and strong and driven but still starting out and needing help bc she's just one #woman but then also seeing the start of what will be her very Very impressive career. Bro. BRO i loved that shit
