I was recently rereading the penisman, and seeing you bringing it up again is a pleasant coincidence to see! Sorry to ask whats likely an obscure question, but have you got any opinions/theories about the Hero's union? Things were just getting juicy about them with the flashback of Braveheartman & Wizardman, and ofc the entire thing with Sachika and Magi...

Oh! Has it been translated in full by now? I remember years ago someone tried to translate it but the result was let’s just say full of mistranslations. (although the translator did improve some in later chapters) Ishida’s writing is not easily decipherable.

To be honest, anon, I read the Penisman in, gods, 2014? Or was it earlier... The point is, it’s been a while. I don’t remember any theories I might have had. What I do remember is that I teared up reading a webcomic about a literal dickhead because friendship really was magic in Fleshlight’s arc. And all Ishida drew was a blob looking at a badly scribbled photo.

Judging by what I’ve seen of Choujin X so far, I think we might see an echo of The Penisman there as well, although obviously not as direct an adaptation as TG.

For a fun trivia tidbit, on his now-deleted blog Ishida said both The Penisman and ONE’s OnePunchMan were a result of the same challenge that top BNFs of their forum did, so if you’ve ever wondered why TP and OPM have basically the same plot, this is why.
