#i really like his characterization in this #it starts with emphasizing his dead ancestor (and possibly father?) and how that pushes him to become an assassin #but despite this hes too good of a person to do the job #and if he were anyone else he probaby wouldnt have become an assassin #all he wants is a friend #and to reclaim his youth #theres a line where he tells a little kid men dont cry over small things #and he was probably told that growing up #the line between his ancestor and himself is blurred #not once does he mention hes the thirteenth #instead hes just supposed to be ishikawa goemon #and that's all he's ever known #but deep down he knows he wants more #lupin iii #lupin the third #lupin the 3rd #goemon ishikawa xiii #goemon #fujiko mine #fujiko
