#op #I am cautiously open to the idea of a quiet room #if someone is over stimulated #but in general I think the Mass is an opportunity to experience community #and community isn’t just able bodied working adults between 20 and 65 #it’s the infants and the demented and the autistic and the hard of hearing and the blind and it’s nursing women and schizophrenics #it’s all of us not just the people who look pretty in pictures #baby rooms tell a congregation that crying children and thus babies INHERENTLY are not worth the minor annoyance of their noise at Mass #it also implies that they somehow need the Mass less #not here for it
