and here is my small little contribution to @kankuroplease 's immaculate tattoo shop au. based on this ask, i give you tsau itahana (and a few sidekicks, too). thank you for letting me dip my toes into the incredible world you've created, my dear. <3

Title: Chicken & Egg Summary: Ah, yes, the age old question... Which came first; the overwhelming attraction, or the trepidation to pursue it? Word Count: 3,776 Warnings: Itachi Uchiha/Hana Inuzuka, smut, porn with (some) plot, cunnilingus, vaginal sex, angst if you squint, modern au, tattoo shop au .

Hana woke slowly, pulled from the fog of her dreams by an incessant screeching noise she was still too drowsy to place.  By the time her eyes batted open and her vision cleared enough for her to read the stark red 3:04 on her phone screen, the sound had ceased and she rolled back over with a groan, tossing the phone onto the comforter as she snuggled back into her pillow.

And then the sound began anew.

With a frustrated whine, Hana grabbed the phone and answered the call with her thumb without bothering to read the name on the screen.

“What? ” she asked, assuming Ayame was calling her drunkenly from some terribly loud after-hours party.

It was only when she was met with silence that Hana panicked, wondering if maybe something had happened to Kiba or her mother.  She drew the phone away to check the caller ID and then her heart rate sped for other reasons.

“Itachi?  Are you there, what’s wrong?” she asked, sitting up in her bed, feeling her brows draw together in concern.

“Hana, I…” he sounded sober, so her confusion deepened.  Itachi did not generally bother her in the middle of the night (their semi-frequent dalliances after a night of drinking or dancing at one of his cousin’s clubs notwithstanding).  “I think my rooster injured himself.”

most popular oneshot: How do I evaluate this? Most hits? Most Kudos? Most reviews? I think it would be Neighbourly, if I just consider everything. People have shown up in my askbox for that fic more than any other fics. I’m extremely grateful for all the positive feedback I have received, considering how rare GaaHina is. Wonderful ship. Wonderful community. 10/10 would recommend.

most popular multichap: Huhhh... All stats considered across both platforms, probably The Art of Letting Go? Because it has been around for so long? I don’t know lol. (no link, because it has been that long... lol)

favorite story you’ve written so far: Hmmmm. I have a few that I like for various reasons, but if I had to pick one, it would be The Corpse in the Skin. It’s dark and twisted with smut and reverse!Fake Dating. I know it’s definitely not my most popular oneshot, but I really liked writing that one.

fic you were nervous to post: Fragmented Hourglass... it’s disjointed, dark and smutty. The holy trinity of potential backlash. I may or may not have posted each chapter a little drunk. lol

how you choose your titles: Real talk? I’m much more concerned about choosing the right words in the fic, than the ones I’ll slap on it to name it (which is probably why none of my titles are particularly clever or good lol). I often pick them 5 seconds before uploading my story. So, I pick them mostly randomly, without much thought. Sorry to disappoint...

do you outline: Yes, religiously.

in progress: 4 (across both platforms)

coming soon/not yet started: This huge list and a few more I hadn’t listed/which came to me recently. I haven’t updated anything in a while, but I have outlined something like 10 fics. Welp. If I ever manage to finish anything, a new chapter for Misfits and a supernatural GaaSaku oneshot will come soon. Maybe.

prompts?: I have filled out prompts in the past, mostly for various Ino ships. The last I did was during a prompt trade with a friend. That was awesome! 10/10 would recommend. She wrote an ItaHana fic for me, which I’m constantly shoving down people’s throat (including now) because it’s so good. I definitely would like to do more prompt fills or prompt trade in the future, but I don’t think it would be any time soon unfortunately.

upcoming work you’re most excited about: That’s hard... I’m equally excited about all the 30 projects I may never end up finishing. lol This being said, I’m really excited about Sci-fi week coming up. Doubtful I’ll get the three fics I’ve outlined done by then, but yeah I’m excited about Android!Karin nailing Suigetsu, Mechanic!Tenten nailing Neji, and Space Mage!Sakura nailing Gaara, and all the sci-fi content I’ll get regardless of whether I participate or not.
