So I can’t be the only one who has put way too much thought into creating my Ryder and has looked up tropes on tvtropes for them, right? Can’t just be me. In any case, I’m just going to put my list down here… Knight Templar (maybe) Control Freak (definitely) Uptight Loves Wild (I imagine this would be a thing for her in general, but it would be particularly true if anything at all happens with her and Peebee) Workaholic Defrosting Ice Queen Aloof Dark-Haired Girl (if she is dark-haired) Compassionate Critic - “A person who believes, or pretends to believe that being bluntly negative in any evaluation of another person or object is for their own good, far better than using tact or encouragement. This can be a sincere thing, or a thin excuse for being a Jerkass.” But Not Too Foreign (only part Asian) The Comically Serious Gray Eyes - “Gray eyes can characterize a cold, strong-willed, and unapproachable character often with an “ideas above people” mentality.“ Knight Templar Big Sister Loving Bully (maybe) The Rival (probably would have this kind of dynamic with someone else) Satellite Character (to her dad, during childhood and adolescence) Mean Boss Hair-Trigger Temper Hero-Worshipper Ironic Name (a name meaning “love” for someone so cold) Mood-Swinger The Stoic: Defied - Might try to be. Doesn’t necessarily work out. Lawful Neutral Weakness Turns Her On Broody Boy, Gentle Girl - Gender Swapped (ooor both could be girls…?) Covert Pervert The Gadfly - “The gadfly is a character who often says things they don’t necessarily believe in order to get a reaction. Maybe they have a hard time really expressing themselves. Or it could be they just like to watch others get annoyed, confused or angry.” Insufferable Genius I Just Want to Be Special Insult Backfire - “Occasionally, the insult backfires because Alice’s remarks were insulting on the surface, but Bob carries them to their logical, ultimately complimentary conclusion.” Inferiority Superiority Complex Vitriolic Best Buds (she probably would like this) Break the Haughty (likely to happen) Because You Were Nice to Me (possibly could happen) Loving a Shadow - “In the character’s mind, one type of relationship was simply confused with another.
