if i ever finish this book i will finally do an annotated arc, not because i think there's a soul in the world that would want that (there isn’t), but because i want to point out every moment the love interest coolly leaves a scene and the protagonist thinks 'huh. can't read them. like a still pool of water' but they're actually around the corner having a panic attack.
