✨You first met him when he stowaway on your grandpa’s ship who was a sailor for his Captain. 

✨Over your voyage time with your grandfather, you encounter many other exotic aliens races.  This however you never seen his species before.  Even your grandfather say his kinds were rare to find around in entherium.

✨You were somehow amazed by his appearance instead of being scared.

  ✨You find him in one of the barrels where he eaten whole space fishes your grandfather and other sailors caught.  He would look at you in fright but threaten as he holds a half eaten fish close.  

✨You decide to ask him where he came from?  or ask for his name but he would only look at you with silence. Believing he cant understanding what your saying, you decided to help him instead after judging on his famished appearance. 

✨You hurry. but sneak quietly down to the gallery to fetch some bread and water and rush back to the barrel he’s in.   As you saw him still in there you offer him a water.  

✨ “here drink this. it’ll quench your thirst,”  you give him a friendly smile while he glance at you in curious the way you are kind to him.  You wanted to have him see your not any threat to him. 

✨ He looks at you now in curious on your kindness gesture and then look at the cup fill with water. Without hesistate he snatch it fast, making you gasped and he chugged it down.

✨ Again you try to ask his name but he only growl at you not to come any closer after drinking his water.

✨ So you promise him if he stays quiet you’ll give him food and water in return and you’ve been doing this for weeks.

✨He slowly warm up to you the more you visit him and taking his likes on your stories on your exciting adventures.

✨All of sudden you were taken by suprised when he finally spoke his name to you. “Nathaniel, my name is Nathaniel.”

✨You give him a joyful smile to see he trusted you and you introduce your name. He returns his toothy grin and since then you both been closet friends.

It hit Gia all at once.

They hadn’t made it to the finale. They came so close to it only to fall short.

The other girls were finishing up filming for the day. They could hear the main stage music playing in the background when a pair of arms wrapped around them.

Gia knew instantly who it was, the voice that followed confirming their suspicions.

“You did phenomenal, baby,” Synthia told her and they felt like they couldn’t keep it in anymore.

“I’m sorry I didn’t make it”

An ugly sob escaped their lips as they hid their face into the crook of her neck, holding on tight to the blonde. They probably would have to apologize for ruining the pretty dress she was wearing later.

“What are you on about, Gee? I’m so proud of you, Kenny is proud of you, hell, all Vancouver is going to be proud when they see how amazing you were, okay?” she continued, tightening her hug as she ran her hand up and down Gia’s back, “My pretty badass alien made it to the top four,” she said and Gia could picture her joyful smile on her lips, making them want to hold on even harder.

They let out a teary chuckle, of course, Synthia would be able to make her laugh after being eliminated.

“I love you,” they whispered against her neck, “I’ve missed you so much,” they continued, going through the last couple of weeks without her had made them feel incomplete.

“I missed you too, being without you and Kenny has been so hard,” Synthia replied as Gia finally looked up, she held up a hand to cup their cheek before leaning in.

Gia felt like they could finally breathe again when Synthia’s lips touched theirs. They could care less if someone might see them, they were the only two people in the world at that moment.

If only Kendall was there with them too.

But their girl had a crown to take home and Gia was sure she could do it.
