Imagine loving someone so hard it transcends every ounce of logic you have, every belief that used to be the core of who you are. To love is to be changed etc. etc.

Riptide is about love, plain and simple. It's odd and seems disjointed to some, but what the Riptide Pirates have is a bond that can get them through the worst. Grizzly's campaign, at its core, is about people needing other people. We don't choose the circumstances we are born in, but we can make something of it. We can find those people who will help us weather the storms and fight off the nightmares.

don't think i've ever said this but the reason i gave jay feather tattoos on her arm was to match lizzie's ava memorial tattoos, like the birds were flying from jay to lizzie and leaving feathers in their wake.
