i already said this on xitter but really and truly the most tragic part of jacks character is that he loves and loves and loves and loses them every single time. and people trying to say ianto was "the most important" or something just seems so BORING!

why can't it be true that ianto wasn't a blip in time, but neither were any of his other lovers? to think that he'll make it to the end of time carrying a list of names in his heart. and losing ianto hurt him terribly, just as it has countless times before. and despite this he will never stop loving.
