worst thing ever is when u read a fic that you realise abt halfway thru is probably going 2 be one that you Won’t Forget For A Fucking While. like one of those ones that when someone asks u “girlie what have u read recently” u flashback 2 the trenches head in hands n have 2 sit down . god. god. god 

#look i've had one that's fit this category for YEARS. one of the first fics i ever read ans it was unbelievably well-written #and about a month? ago now i finished a certain 500k one and. fuck? fuck. FUCK FUCKFUCKFUCK #most times i finish a fic i just sorta go ^_^ nice. or whatever emotion i was meant 2 feel. then usually forget about it completely. #it's SO rare 4 things 2 stick with me and i didn't think i'd read another that'd make me feel like That again. but here we are #part of it is likely just due to the length of it forsure. but the amount of skill and care put into it was unbelievably outstanding #from the vivid environments to the quiet moments between the characters. i.? . like i haven't stopped thinking about it since i finished it #im not the kinda mf who preaches like ''UMMMM fanfictions can be better than novels actually :/'' because even if they're both writing-based #fics and published works are SO fucking different in execution. BUT . fics like that make me sometimes just like. Ough.
