ONCE IN A BOO MOON. or jino and @shxlgc in what was supposed to be a trip to the bathroom turned into them hunting for ghosts (and unsurprisingly getting lost along the way).
“how cool would it be if we actually saw a ghost?” was what had started it all.
now, jino and seunghyun  —  supposedly on their way to the bathroom  —  were two hallways off, and three hundred and four steps from where their presumptive goal, and were instead following the incessant beeping coming from jino’s so-called ‘ghost-tracker’ app. decked out in its lime-green and neon writing css, jino had no qualms buying into its charm.
“wait — what was that?”
all that answered him back was the continuous beeping.  using the flashlight of his phone to light their way, jino trekked on, practically dragging seunghyun against his will towards who knows what.
“ghost  — ghost (s) ? is that you — do you come in peace?”
he wonders if he’s taking a shot in the dark, believing the pd team and their writers of whether this high school was as haunted as they said or if it was just a regular high school that was out for the week because they were being handsomely paid by the production company. whatever the reason, jino, naive as he was, wanted to believe it was the former.
it was more interesting that way.
from his side he hears a shuffle  —  a pause  —  then a squeak. this time, he truly stops, turning slowly to seunghyun, “dude, did you hear that?”

yein has never really been into games, but now that she got the news of where she would be staying for the night, she's even less amused by this whole retreat idea. especially when she finds out that after a night in the woods, she would have to wake up and do another day of this? was one day not enough?
the only thing she can hope for is that her team will do better in the next round of activities, because apparently their results were abysmal in this one.
"you know what the problem is?" she asks, looking at haru as she puts a small bag into her pocket. dinner was over, but she took one of the snacks because if she was going to be camping she didn't want to starve in the tents. "your humongous head kept covering me during that camera game." yein smiles, because she's half joking half not — the whole wilderness thing made it difficult to be too excited. but at the same time she tells herself not to be dramatic over one night.
"and that big head got you to a five star hotel so..." she sighs. "don't be sad about your big head! you got lucky!"

with @lgcjinyoung
"jinyoungie!" byungho called out to his friend. it felt like it had been ages since he last saw the other. actually to recalled he doesn't even remember the last time the two of them had a chance to catch up.
being a part of the retreat was definitly something else compare to his usual schedule. it was fun and to be honest it was starting to make byungho question if he should try dipping his toes into the variety part of the entertainment industry. but that was something that he will think about later on. right now he just wants to talk jinyoung.
"how did you like the game! are you tired? it was a lot of work wasn't it." byungho said with a frown on his face a little sad if his friend really did have a hard time. "it's also been so long since we last saw each out. how are you? is jinseo giving you a hard time." because if anything jinyoung was his favorite it definitely showed.

         with @lgcyura ♡
in retrospect, hyejoo isn't surprised that crystallis got the haunted school as their home for the night. actually, she's more surprised that they didn't outright lose the game in last place, considering all the unfortunate situations they've gone through in the past year. so all things considered she feels like this is actually pretty good, because at least they're not in the wilderness exposed to the elements.
"are you scared of ghosts?" she asks, shining the flashlight down the hallway as they go to look for the bathroom. hyejoo thought it would be better to go now, instead of later at night when everyone is asleep and she would have to do it alone. she's never been the type to be scared of ghosts, but the thought of walking in the darkness by herself in this type of vibe didn't make her feel too comfortable.
"if only we were just one place higher we would be in a normal house." she says wistfully, thinking about how her other friends are probably living their best lives in nice hotels and cute traditional houses while she's in a haunted school.
but she also thinks it's kind of fun, because when else would they get to do something like this? it might not be the most comfortable but wouldn't they get the most interesting footage from the night? "do you hear any ghosts? they said they come out this time of month."

the entire day had been rather eventful so far, but it was not over yet. while everyone was having dinner, jisoo sat with the rest of fabula and the other models and actors that were also set with the fabula group. initially he was worried that he'd be one of the few males that were with the girl trio, but the more names were listed, jisoo felt relieved. there was always so much dancing around and being rather rigid, but this was much more comforting. "hey leo-" jisoo looks back to the door and then back at the actor, "the suspense is killing me. what are they doing with the leaders? do you think they're going to keep us with fabula for the remainder of the night or shuffle us back with the agency... that wouldn't make sense with the numbers though."
it's crazy how little of the day they were aware of and privy to, but that's what the company liked to put on them from time to time- surprise, spontaneity, and within group activity. it gets him socializing, which again, can be a bit similar to pulling teeth. "i feel like i can finally catch my breath though. and it's just nearly the end of the night." the model misses his apartment dearly and privacy. "oh hey, i think i hear some commotion- i wonder what news the leaders have for us?" granted, the leaders and team had just played a game to select where they would be staying for the night, but they didn't know that yet-

DIAMONDS ONLY an lgc retreat starter for @lgcxmax
being able to avoid staying in a tent and managing to score rooms in a luxury hotel, alex can't help but feel excited at the idea of 'living like royalty' even if it were just briefly. it's true that he had heard about those less fortunate having to stay in a haunted school, though if he had to be quite honest that didn't sound like such a bad idea seeing as he didn't tend to believe in things such as ghosts. maybe that's one of the reasons why he wished he could have ended up there (but also because of his girlfriend being there as well, though he wouldn't let that thought be known to anyone out there).
upon arriving at the hotel, and even making their way up to their rooms, alex walks in side-by-side with max while unable to hide the satisfied grin from his face. "i can't believe we're going to live like 'kings' in here..." he states, tossing his arm over the younger male's shoulders as he looks at max with a wide grin on his face. "what should we do first? order some room service? play some games? or~ we can even head out and see what else this place has to offer.." it's not like alex hadn't stayed in luxury hotels before and that could be why he was ready to actually do 'something' rather than just sit around doing nothing the whole night.

LGC RETREAT
SCHEDULE TYPE: TRIMESTER ( PART 2 OUT OF 2 ) SCHEDULE RESTRICTIONS: cannot be paired with another trimester schedule, unless stated otherwise. for reference as to whether your muse is eligible for this event, please click over HERE.
it’s the next morning and all of the teams’ leaders are woken up early in the morning by the staff members. not knowing exactly what is going on, they are asked to follow them until all of them are gathered in one small room together.
BREAKFAST QUIZ
with the cameras on them and PD BAE sitting across from them, he explains that they will be playing the BREAKFAST QUIZ game in which all of the leaders will have to wake up their team members with any means possible and tell them to follow the red arrows. the red arrows outside will lead them to the center point of all of their locations and PD BAE and the staff will be standing there.
all of the debuted artists will be asked to fall in line in front of a table where the box is. Inside the box are sheets of paper revealing tasks, games, and questions that the artist must complete. if they complete the task, they will be allowed to rest for a bit longer ( depending on how soon they complete it ) OR head to the breakfast hall. if the debuted artist DOES NOT complete the task and/or get the “DUD” paper, they will go back to the end of the line and keep going until the end of the three rounds and/or they finish the assigned task.
by the second round, "cheating" would be allowed in the form of letting any of the remaining players provide hints to each other. do note though that because this is still a competition, some of the players might give the wrong answer ( on purpose or not )! whoever passes by the end of the game will receive additional points for their team (which will be factored into the final scores).
once the leaders have woken up ALL of the members in their team, they will be told to head to the breakfast hall where they will be doing their game simultaneously as the debuted artists are completing the BREAKFAST QUIZ game.
if you want a general idea of how this game works, you can click over HERE.
LEMON TEA GAME ( LEADERS )
the leaders will be in a separate room inside the breakfast hall where they’re gathered to play a game, this time the winner of the round gets additional points and the first random pick as to which of the other leaders will be assigned to their group. they will all play the LEMON TEA game where each of the leaders will roll a 12 sided dice. the number that is shown at the top of the dice will be the number of ( half ) lemons the staff will be squeezing for their drink. then they will do the second round where they must pick a number between 1-6. for each number there’s a measurement tool corresponding to it and that item will be used to decide how much sugar will be poured onto their tea cup. the leaders will not know beforehand what those tools are and for every time one of the leaders has to pick, the numbers will be shuffled around to make sure that it’s completely random.
with a combination of those two, the rest of their tea cup will be filled with warm water and be handed a small plate filled with miniature desserts, cheese, and crackers of their choosing. the goal for each of the leaders is to drink their tea concoction and eat their food as quickly as possible. whoever finishes it first will be deemed the winner.
if you want a general idea of how this game works, you can click over HERE.
LEMON TEA GAME ( DEBUTED ARTISTS )
similarly, the rest of the artists will be doing the same task as the leaders this time they will be doing it in teams. after the BREAKFAST QUIZ is done and they’ve finished breakfast, they will be each asked to go to their team rooms ( eg. CRYSTALLIS ROOM, FABULA ROOM, LGC AGENCY ROOM, TYPE ZERO ROOM, and V&A ROOM ). inside the room, they are met with ONE of the leaders ( not their team leader but the leader ASSIGNED to them; for instance team CRYSTALLIS will be seeing OH EUNHYE inside their room ).
just like the above, each of the team members will be rolling a 12-sided dice to represent the number of ( half ) lemons that will be squeezed and poured into their tea drink. the team members will each be asked to pick a number between 1-6 and each number represents a tool that will be used to measure the amount of sugar used in their tea concoction. afterwards, the rest of their tea cup will be filled with warm water and have the option to choose from three medium sized plates of small desserts, crackers, and cheese that they can eat to go along with their drink. the goal for each of the team members is to drink their tea concoction and eat their food as quickly as possible. since this is a TEAM RELAY game, whichever team finishes their drink and food the fastest wins.
if you want a general idea of how this game works, you can click over HERE.
LEISURE TIME
during this time, the debuted artists will be split into 3 groups of 16 people and this will be done by randomly picking colored sheets of paper from a box ( group A - blue / group B - red / group C - yellow ). all of the groups will be visiting three locations at different times; GOSU CAVE, MANCHEONHA SKYWALK, and DANYANG MARKET. for DANYANG MARKET, they will be having lunch there as they get to try out the different foods and delicacies available to the northern chungcheong province. depending on the location, they will be spending 1-3 hours in each of the areas so they will be back around 4 o’clock in the afternoon. this will be considered the groups’ leisure time to explore and have fun but as usual since this will be recorded, everyone is expected to be on their best behavior.
however, what the debuted artists don’t know is that while they are having fun, the rest of the staff members are preparing for one final game to end the show.
PROTECT YOUR ITEM
when all of the debuted artists and leaders return, they are told to go back to their original teams ( crystallis/fabula/lgc agency/type zero/v&a ) and head to their assigned rooms. each of the teams will be told that for the "final" game, they will be playing PROTECT YOUR ITEM; a game where each team is assigned an item and they will have to secretly complete their task associated with the item without the other teams knowing about it.
each team is assigned a specific item that they must protect and they are as follows:
CRYSTALLIS - ( GIANT ) JENGA PIECES
FABULA - DDKAJI ( FOLDED PAPER TILES )
LGC AGENCY - TOASTER & BREAD
TYPE ZERO - QUAIL EGGS
V&A - DOMINO PIECES
the goals of this game are to protect your item and complete the team challenge as quickly as possible.
if you want a general idea of how this game works, you can click over HERE.
LIVING ARRANGEMENTS
once the game has concluded and it’s night time, everyone will be having a buffet for dinner to celebrate everything they’ve done for the past two days. just like the previous day, people are called separately by the staff but instead of the LEADERS, it’s now the MAKNAES of each of the teams; YOON MINJAE ( TYPE ZERO ), MOON JINO ( CRYSTALLIS ), LEE MINJI ( FABULA ), HAN KEEHO ( V&A ), and BAEK SEONA ( LGC AGENCY ).
the five individuals play the infamous PIRATE BARREL game and some people are expecting to win the game in hopes of not staying in the same places as before but…
PD BAE tells them after finalizing the order that the deciding factor for the living arrangements isn’t on who survived last in the rounds ( aka the winner ), but rather who lost the quickest.
the rankings in the pirate barrel game are (first/winner who survived the longest > last/one who lost the quickest): TYPE ZERO > V&A > LGC AGENCY > CRYSTALLIS > FABULA
because of this, here are the final living arrangements:
FABULA: will be staying in a five star luxury inn and be receiving the best amenities available.
CRYSTALLIS: will be staying in a two story modern apartment building.
LGC AGENCY: will be staying in a hanok ( traditional korean house ).
V&A: will be staying in a haunted high school nearby. rumors has it that during december, sounds from past students of the high school can be heard in the hallways.
TYPE ZERO: will be staying in tents arranged by the staff. the tents are located in the middle of the woods, so actors and models, beware!
ENDING
the next morning all of the debuted artists will be heading back to the company and resume their normal activities and schedules! the final scores and results will not be revealed until LGC RETREAT officially airs the last episode ( where all of the debuted artists are invited to watch the show together to find out the results )!

@lgcjaehwa and ichika @ the lgc treat
Generally, Ichika considered herself a brave person— or at least a braver person than she had once been as a child. Back then, she used to scream and squeal whenever kids in her class would talk about ghosts and ghouls, and she’d delight in the feeling until she went home and the lingering tales would invade her sleep and she’d go crawling into her mother’s bed. As she grew up, the monsters took different shapes and scared her in different ways, but as she entered the last few months of her twenty-fifth year, he was confident that nothing had the power to scare her. Be it ghost, monster, or human.
But humans and their feelings are foolish, fickle things and it only took the rattle of a window to make Ichika jump in her skin, and reach toward her closest member, that being Jaehwa. “I hate this, I hate this, I hate this…” she chanted under her breath, undoubtedly picked up by the microphones, but honestly she couldn’t care at this point. If it wasn’t bad enough that Crystallis had done so poorly in the retreat games, then the fact that their loss has landed them in a ‘haunted’ school building was like salt in the wounds— though if it was better than being forced to sleep outside was out. Actually, she didn’t care because her current reality was pretty bad. “Come to the bathroom with me,” she murmured, more firmly winding her fingers around Jaehwa’s wrist. “I don’t want to go alone.”

mosquito alert.
Although Minkyu is delighted that he doesn't have to reside in the tents like the members of Team Agency ( Minkyu is certain he wouldn't last a night in the wilderness with insects and other dangers all around ), he still feels unsettled lying in his bed inside the hanoks.
Wide awake, his eyes strained to adjust to the darkness, while his ears remained attuned to the faint sounds that permeated the air, apart from the intermittent snores emanating from his fellow team members. In these moments, he yearns for the solace and security of his own four walls, the cosy embrace of his bed.
When he hears an exceptionally loud mosquito sound, his patience wears thin, causing him to abruptly jump up from under his duvet with a startled screech. He quickly approaches the nearest person, who coincidentally happens to be @lgcjinyoung.
"Hyung, hyung, hyung, hyung." He chants, as if reciting a mantra, his fingers tightly gripping his arm, desperately trying to rouse him from sleep. "Hyung, please wake up. Please."

getting up at 3am wasn't something he minded but definitely not something he was used to. with blurry vision and glasses messily on his nose, max tiredly stumbled into the car, falling into the seat beside tee with a yawn. "morning...," he mumbles tiredly to his friend, head immediately falling back against the rest before it slowly lulls over to watch his friend, a tired grin slowly crawling over his lips.
"tired, huh?" it was a rhetorical question obviously but he wanted to try and strike up a conversation regardless. if he had to wake up, he might as well try and wake up his old time friend as well.

˚ ୧ .˚ₓ  a walk in the sky
ft @lgcxmax
it had been a while since jaehwa had the opportunity to explore the country and she was grateful that the company provided them with the chance to do so (despite the challenges of the previous night). after traveling to various countries during crystallis' asia tour, today's itinerary led her away from the bustling city to the serene north chungcheong province, where the pace of life was more relaxed.
taking in a deep breath of the crisp, fresh air, jaehwa strolled across the mancheonha skywalk. the ground beneath her consisted of thick, transparent glass, offering a mesmerizing view of the forest below. heights held no fear for jaehwa which allowed her to confidently stand at the edge of the platform, arms resting on the railings. "it's lovely here, isn't it? takes your mind off everything," she remarked to the person standing beside her.

A FLOUR SHOWER. in a game of trust me, jino hopes to be a reliable teammate, what he hasn't realized is that instead of the plate, he's thrown all his flour all over @lgcyuxi.
he did not have a good feeling about this.
in the previous game, he had used his unnecessarily long limbs to good use. with his sight blocked, jino did not know how well he could play a game. on any given day, one would suppose jino could be called clumsy  —  hopefully today was not one of those days. hopefully today, he would be useful, reliable, a member of the team to be counted on  —  last of all, he hoped he wouldn’t be clumsy.
and for a second, as he had settled into his seat behind another member of their team, he had supposed that maybe he would be useful, reliable and all those things he hoped he could be today. and then he was handed the plate he was supposed to hold the flour in and there was simply no rhyme nor reason to explain how they were going to win this game with such flimsy tools.
there was no way the flour was going to fit  — it wasn’t even big enough!
he turns to the person behind him and gives a cursory, if not sheepish grin, giving them a thumbs up for encouragement and a — "we can do this!" — before he hears the incoming cues from the staff at the side and the blindfold is suddenly over his eyes and he’s staring at what he hopes is the head of the person in front of him as he places his plate up front, arms outstretched and at the ready.
when he feels the flour pill onto his fingertips, his head fills with dread  —
oh no, had they already fucked up?

express. ♡ now welcoming: @lgcminkyu
there was nothing like a good hike or time spent outside in nature. this was jihan's calling. while she was spending time with new people, she was able to explore. just as much and take in the sights for free. jihan tried not to think so much about the cameras or reactions being filmed for others to possibly see. such a thought spiked a bit of anxiety, something she never truly felt when it came. toplaying games.
though, the brunette realized that this was something she had to get used to. being in front of cameras, inserting with other people while their words were being filmed. it was. a lot to take, yet this was something she signed up for. however, the games were fun, just as much as the free time they were receiving now.
as their team started discussing where to go from here, jihan spotted a familiar face entering Gosu cave as she leaned against the harsh rocks that lined the cave's entrance. "kyu!" she tried to call out in a normal tone, not wanting to bring up too much attention to herself while the others continued to chat. the relationship between the two had gotten better, not yet back to normal, but the brunette felt comfortable speaking to him once more like before. jihan was just happy they were back on talking terms without it being awkward.
"you're going to love it in there. i tried not to take so many photos and just live in the moment." she spoke once he was closer to her, arms crossed over her chest with a bright smile. "are you having a good time today? it's much better than fighting for my life with those games before."

lemon overdose
legacy retreat day 2, lemon tea game with @lgcamelia
After having survived the night in the forest being inside with everyone from the company was a welcome sight even if he was only running on the barest minimum of sleep. A few cups of strong coffee later and he could face any game that they could throw at him, short of a very physical one. If they needed him to run... then they were out of luck.
"Lemon tea game?" he muttered to himself after all the agency people had gathered in a room and introduced to the game. It didn't sound very scary, in fact it sounded almost pleasant, conjuring up images of tea and cakes. Until the die was produced. It was then Haemin realised that once again his fate was in the hands of fickle gods.
"Oh my god, lemon juice and coffee? I'm going to get an ulcer," Haemin said to his neighbour, Amelia, with a grimace. "I'm so bad with sour things! I will actually die if I get a high number."

assembly line chaos
"Hyung, your handwriting is better than mine, right?" His fingers were smeared with the ink from the permanent marker. He had crossed out several pages on the notebook, feeling frustrated when he didn't think to wait a few more seconds to allow for the ink to dry. He had been documenting the amount of lunch boxes that had been finished, but despite the stacked pile on the table, he knew the group was a long way from being finished.
They weren't professionals. He could hear his father in the back of his mind demanding anyone that didn't know anything about food safety to get out of the kitchen. He had never been asked to jump into the kitchen for obvious reasons. His father would be having a field day, but luckily, the cafe's staff had been patient and jumping in when any of them needed help.
"Does this take you back to your days in the kitchen?" He questions, tilting his head slightly to glance at the incoming batch of food prepared to be plated and packaged. It was a bit ironic to have the person with the most experience in their plating team, but he figures that Seojin would appreciate the break from cooking, or at the very least make sure that their lunch boxes were presentable and of quality. He offers the notebook and permanent marker, toothy grin appearing on his face. It was his last attempt of ridding himself of any responsibility for the rest of the day. "Can you take over?"

LGC Retreat: The Interview
yiran had always wondered what it would be like to do an interview, especially after seeing a lot of her favorite actors and actresses doing them back in china and how much fun they seemed to have while doing them.
today she would be able to experience just that. was she excited? absolutely, it almost made her feel as if this were the first major event in her career ( aside from signing her contract recently that is ). so, after having been told that they would be taking part in interviews, yiran couldn't contain the excitement within that wanted to show itself, however, she did remind herself to still stay as professional as possible.
she sits there, glancing around as she waits for them to begin, and smiles once the staff sits down to start her interview.
“out of all of the games that were played today, which one was your favorite?”
for a moment, yiran stops to think before answering as she thinks back on all of the games they've played, trying to decide on which one she had found to be more interesting out of the rest. "well... i think out of all the games, the 'protect your item' game was probably one of my favorites." she pauses momentarily before laughing a little. "it was not only fun but also interesting to try and hide the items that we were all give. it was fun to do while trying not to get caught in the process by any of the others."
“did you have any memorable moments during leisure time? if so, can you explain a bit more about what made it memorable to you?”
"actually... i really enjoyed visiting the danyang market. being able to try out different foods was really fun and a new experience. there were foods that i've never even heard of before, so it was one of the most memorable moments for me." she smiles at the memory before continuing. "it was nice to just try something new. i'd love to learn some of the recipes to make when we get back home because some of them were really good!"
“what is one thing that you would like to take away from this experience?”
a moment of silence as she seriously thinks back on everything that happened during this retreat. so much had happened, mostly fun things obviously, though she can't help but think of how relaxing the whole experience had been. "honestly, there's a lot of things that i could go on and on about, but really i think the one thing is that i learned quite a bit. from all of the teamwork needed for the games we played, to the times we enjoyed together throughout our time here." she pauses and smiles gently. "it was nice to step out of the practice rooms and experience something that i've never experienced before. i wouldn't mind attending another retreat again in the future if possible actually, being able to just have fun with everyone and even play some games to let off some 'stress' that we've let build up throughout the year... well, not exactly stress but just getting the chance to relax and not have to think about our schedules for even a short time."
and once she's done, and the interview is all said and done, yiran takes a deep breath before exhaling. even though she knows it'll be back to their usual schedules after all of this, she can at least say that she had fun for a short period of time. not that she didn't find her schedules fun, but that was a whole different category in her eyes.
