i’m sorry it’s hard to believe Tenzin “pro-bending is a corruption of the noble tradition of bending” is Aang’s son. I watched The Blind Bandit I know Aang would have been all over that

#i feel like in a better version of this show Tenzin would have been the kid that Aang didn't pay a ton of attention to #bc their temperaments are so different #idk i feel like it would have been so interesting to hear about Aang struggling to parent his only Airbender son #not bc he's negligent or he doesn't want to but bc he just doesn't know how #like he's trying to impart the values of freedom and fun onto Tenzin and Tenzin just wants to read Air Nomad philosophy #and now Aang's died and Tenzin has to rebuild the Air Nomads and teach the new Avatar how to Airbend but he has all this baggage #from his own relationship with his father #and he feels like he can't maintain that legacy even though it's all he wants to do #idk am i tripping perhaps but I think it would be cool #I still like Tenzin I just think that he and Aang are super super different and that's an interesting dynamic to me #arthur watches lok #death mention
