#still pissed off abt that post being like ~we fixed the ozone hole it doesnt exist anymore!!!~~ #like i know ppl in the northern hemisphere stopped caring but its absolutely NOT A SOLVED PROBLEM YOU CAN PAT YOURSELF ON THE BACK FOR #the last TWO years have had Concerningly Large ozone holes on par with the 70s #it closes and opens EVERY YEAR it is not GONE and never has been #& ppl in the global far south are ABSOLUTELY still dealing with the fallout i was not kidding about sunscreen on cloudy days down here #australia and aotearoa have ***THE*** highest rates of melanoma in the world!!!!!!!! #like you can literally google all of this it takes two seconds the ozone hole is still a MASSIVE GIGANTIC PROBLEM
