i keep thinking about that post i saw going around a while ago that’s like “if you don’t like a certain food & people hound u for it just say you’re deathly allergic to the food! :)” n like... as someone w/ allergies & siblings who are picky eaters/have allergies as well that doesn’t usually work either...

#maybe i just only know terrible ppl but seriously i can think of like 10 seperate times that me & my siblings could have died bcuz ppl #forget/just straight up don't care that we are definitely deathly allergic to certain foods #or they think we're lying :\ #like for me. i'm allergic to peanuts which is incredibly common & like the most well known allergy. so ppl r usually like okay good 2 know #n i'm very lucky !! i'm comfortable eating things from restaurants & other places bcuz people Know & i'm trusting of that #but my older sibling is allergic to sooo many common foods n i think ppl just get annoyed?? like wtf even #they're like ugh ur fucking allergic to everything :\ how do u live #very easily actually! just learn the allergies !! it's not hard i promise ! #my older sibling has ptsd bcuz of the way ppl treated their allergies. like they will NOT eat anything unless they see it being made/know it #it's from an allergy free company :( #honks #anyways. i'm mad abt it today #like. ppl stop being considerate of that as soon as it's hard. peanuts? no problem we can avoid it. dairy/gluten/certain meats/etc? well #now ur just lying! #>:\ angery #venty #LMAO i guess it's Quite the rant! but it's not a vent really #also clarification i do not think the ppl i know irl r terrible. i was mad and that was wrong of me. #but i think i have good reasons to be mad? yeah... it just doesn't rly cross their minds n that can be rly dangerous...
