Crazy (by which I mean entirely unsurprising) how literally every crowd crush is the fault of cops/security/the government/businesses being lazy, callous, negligent, and/or cheap.

#text #literally every incident ive read abt boils down to those cunts not doing their jobs #i didnt even know abt the travis scott one or the south korea one which happened 2021 and 2022 respectively #literally there has been a guide since 2011 ish at LEAST abt concerts. #you are supposed to have someone with noise cancelling headphones near the stage to get info from someone w a radio #so they can tell the singer to fucking stop the concert because people are dying #but the crowd crush at that concert was happening for forty minutes and he never stopped (he even saw someone pass out???) #and an ambulance?? #oh also part of the crowd chanted to stop the concert. twice. so there's rly literally no excuse #(i imagine all they Could do was chant bc the density would be too great to move.) #i havent read much abt the religious pilgrimage ones but i assume thats an infrastructure thing as well which is again the gvmt #anyway you will never catch me that close to that density and number of people it sounds so fuckin nightmarish much less to die like that #it really sucks too bc a lot a lot a lot of the people at concerts and sporting events and the halloween thing in seoul are young
