Day 112: Harbor Seals 🦭 (Phoca Vitulina) . . . Saturday, the seals swimming in the warming Atlantic waters off the coast of Long Island were bopping their marble heads through the surface of the sea 🌊🦭 I imagine they are looking for undisturbed beaches, silent hideaways, dusty sandbars, or blue lagoons, crystal clear bays, in rocky headlands where they have their own open space during the low tides of the Atlantic to sleep 🛌 , rest 💤 , give birth, nourish young, and mate.
