Firstly, thanks for the compliment dear!!

Secondly, my overwhelming answer is going to have to be: it depends. 

I, personally, ship Beetlejuice & (adult)Lydia, both in post movie-verse as well as in post cartoon-verse. In fact it’s been one of my main ships since I was a wee-one watching ABC Kids & writing shitty fan fiction in my journals.

HOWEVER, I would never presume to force a ship on any Lydia roleplayer. I enjoy building relationships IC & communicating OOC before I consider shipping with anyone.

More often than not, if we haven’t discussed things, I play a Beetlejuice post-film/pre-cartoon haunting the Deetz household before building any sort of relationship: friendship, hateship, or romance … My default is asshole squatter ghost who just won’t go in peace.

All of this fucking arguing about whether or not its okay to ship lydia with beetlejuice. The antis who cant stand the pedophilia even though she isn’t real(still dont quite understand it myself okay) and the babes who defend it cause they’ve shipped it for so long.

I can’t fucking stand pedophilia and LydiaxBeetlejuice makes me uncomfortable even when you make her an adult because I still see her as a kid. I can’t help it, I didn’t grow up with her. The b-babes who don’t see her as a kid, okay good on you but stop with the stupid rebuttals of 

“you should focus on donating and helping the actual children affected by sexual abuse and child marriages instead of arguing”

Okay then. Here are some charities. Go donate. Put your money where your mouth is. Spend your time doing something productive and good instead of annoying as fuck, stupid ass discourse. I invite anti’s and beetlebabes to donate instead of arguing cause jfc. I don’t care how much. Any amount helps.
