It’s mid-July and the lavender fields in Sault, Provence are in full bloom. In 2000, and before children, my wife & travelled down to the South of France in our beautiful TVR Griffith to sample the atmosphere and intoxicating smell of these expansive fields.This photo was an old 35mm Fuji Velvia transparency taken on my Contax G-1 that I was using at the time.
