Rewriting my story with you [Part 2 of 6]
Ao3 | Part 1 | Part 3. Relationship: Adrien Agreste x Damian Wayne
Chapter 2: I'm in trouble
Damian Wayne stood on the rooftop, gazing out over Gotham City. His father, Batman, had been out on patrol for hours, leaving him to stew in his own thoughts. He was still angry about what he had learned earlier that day.
 Batman and Catwoman. Together. Again.
It wasn't the first time they had gotten together, and Damian was certain it wouldn't be the last. But every time it happened; it tore at something inside him.
He hadn't been back to Wayne Manor since that woman moved in. It was pure torture for him. On the top floor of Wayne's corporate offices. It was supposed to be a safe house, but the young man absolutely refused to live under the same roof as that thieving bitch.
Love. He didn't believe in it. Not after everything he had been through. Not after the way his mother had abandoned him. Not after the way his grandfather had tried to use him as a pawn in his own twisted schemes.
But seeing his father, the Dark Knight of Gotham, get tangled up in something as messy and unpredictable as a romantic relationship made Damian feel uneasy. It was like watching someone dismantle the very thing that made them strong.
He clenched his fists, feeling the anger boil up inside him. He had to do something to take his mind off of it. He turned his attention to the streets below, scanning for any signs of trouble.
As he leapt from rooftop to rooftop, Damian tried to push the thoughts of his father and Catwoman out of his mind. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't shake the feeling that something important was slipping away.
One night, while on patrol, he heard a commotion from an alleyway. As he approached, he saw a young man being attacked by a group of thugs. Without hesitation, Robin jumped into action, taking out the thugs one by one until only the young man was left. As he helped the man up, Robin couldn't help but notice how handsome he was. He had piercing green eyes and blonde hair that fell in disarray over his forehead. He felt something strange happening in his chest. There was a kind of heat that spread inside of him. He decided to ignore this strange sensation and focus his attention on the person in front of him.
"Are you okay?" Robin asked, trying to shake off his thoughts.
The man nodded, still staring at Robin with a dazed expression.
"Thank you...”
Robin nodded and left without a backward glance. Once he was far away, he put his hand on his chest. For some reason he didn't understand, his heart was pounding. It was almost as if he could hear it.
What was happening to him?
He was a person with excellent stamina. He fought criminals almost every night. Why was he so out of breath?
Robin decided it was best for him to go home and do some tests on himself.
 Nothing.
All results were negative. Damian was in excellent health.
Damian decided to stop thinking about this strange phenomenon, at least he tried. Alas, it was as if the universe was playing a trick on him. Every time he tried to sleep after this incident, the only thing he had in his dreams was this guy with blond hair.
EVERY TIME.
Damian then began to research this man. He had been trained to deal with every conceivable situation. It was out of the question to let himself be destabilized. Maybe this guy was a metahuman. He had to find out more.
It was not difficult to get a name: Adrien Agreste.
He was the son of a former terrorist in Paris. He had probably left the city to escape the media. He continued his research. He found all the possible photos on the guy, all that concerned him on the social networks. It was not very difficult.
It had become a kind of obsession.
Why?
Every time he looked at this guy in the pictures, saw his smile, just his silhouette, it was enough to make his heart start beating uncontrollably.
He began to research his symptoms on google (he was quite desperate, okay?). Eventually he came across an article on "how to tell if you have a crush on someone?". Damian had no idea why this kind of stupid article kept popping up in his research. He ended up clicking on it out of curiosity. The more he read, the more he felt like his veins were freezing.
All the symptoms described were what he was feeling.
 What the fuck?
Damian Wayne had always prided himself on his self-control. As the son of Batman, he was trained to be a disciplined fighter and thinker, and his emotions were never supposed to get in the way of his mission. But ever since he met Adrien Agreste, something was different. He couldn't explain why he was drawn to the young man.
It was impossible, wasn't it? And yet he started following the guy around. There had to be a mistake. Damian was going to find a logical explanation for his strange sensations. But the more he saw Adrien around the city, the harder it became to ignore. Every time he saw Adrien's bright smile or heard his infectious laugh, his heart raced, and his palms grew sweaty. It was like nothing he had ever experienced before.
Damian tried to resist his feelings. He didn't want to be distracted from his duties as Robin, and he certainly didn't want to be vulnerable to anyone, especially not someone like Adrien who he barely knew. But try as he might, he couldn't get the other boy out of his head. Despite his best efforts, Damian couldn't shake his feelings. He found himself daydreaming about Adrien and imagining what it would be like to hold his hand or to be close to him.
Then One night, as Robin was patrolling the streets, he heard a familiar voice calling out for help. It was him, the same man he had saved before, Adrien Agreste. This time he was being attacked by a group of criminals. Robin leaped into action, taking out the thugs once again and making sure he was safe. Then, once the criminals were neutralized, he turned slowly to Adrien. Their eyes met. His heart started to beat at a crazy speed. The world seemed to freeze. He approached him gently and helped him up.
"Who are you?"
This question brought him back to reality. What was he doing?
"I'm Robin."
His eyes widened slightly. He had to recognize the name. At this thought, a soft warmth spread in his chest. Damian felt like banging his head against a wall. Adrien scratched the back of his head. He smiled nervously at him.
"Thank you, Robin. You saved my life."
"-Tk- It's what I do."
He seriously felt like punching himself in the face. Why had he been so cold?
Adrien started to walk away, leaving him alone behind with the criminals all on the ground. Damian felt a strange sensation in his stomach. As if he had knots forming in his gut.
   He was in trouble.

Like Cat  Bird [Part 4 of 4]
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | AO3: Here.
WARNING : MIRACULOUS SEASON 5 SPOILERS!!! If you don't want to be spoiled I advise you not to read.
Pairing : Adrien x Damian
Chapter 4: Decision.
After the conversation at the park, Adrien found himself thinking about Damian in a different way. He couldn't deny that he felt a certain pull towards him, and the idea of exploring those feelings was both exciting and scary.
Adrien realized that it was Sunday evening. The next day he would see Damian again.
How was he supposed to behave? Did he have to give him an answer? What answer should he give?
He sighed.
Did he like Damian? The answer was yes.
Did he want more than a friendly relationship? The answer was maybe, why not?
Adrien's main problem was that he still had feelings for Ladybug, or rather for Marinette since his former classmate was Ladybug. The problem was that at the time he discovered this information the girl was dating Luka. Then, he had gone out with Kagami for a while, and it had not ended well. Of course, the girl had moved on and was dating his cousin Felix. But, he had not forgotten how much he had hurt the girl.
Finally, Adrien took his phone to contact a friend. The only person he could still talk to since he had no contact with his friends living in France.
He dialed Kagami's number. Yes, it's true that it was surprising for him to call his ex to talk about his love situation. But since he knew that she didn't see him as a romantic partner anymore, it shouldn't be a problem, right?
Adrien felt nervous. He knew that she had a tendency to speak her mind without filtering her thoughts, but he also trusted her to give him honest advice.
She answered after a few rings.
“Adrien.”
"Kagami, I need to talk to you," Adrien said, his voice urgent.
"Is everything okay? It must be urgent for you to call me of all people. "
Adrien took a deep breath before speaking again.
"Something unexpected happened to me recently and I… don’t know how to deal with it…”
“Explain.”
Adrien began by explaining to her everything that had happened to him since he arrived in Gotham, he told her about his settlement, about his feeling of loneliness. Finally, he came to the most important subject for him: Damian.
He told her about how he had confronted Damian and how Damian had confessed his feelings for him. He also explained how he was unsure about how to proceed and how he didn't want to hurt Damian.
"I know who Damian Wayne is, Adrien. You have a gift for always picking the hardest choice."
"I honestly don't know what to say to that."
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line before Kagami spoke again.
"Well, Adrien, I think you should take this opportunity to explore your feelings for Damian. It's not every day that someone confesses their feelings to you, especially someone who seems to genuinely care about you. And you never know, maybe you'll find that you have feelings for him too."
"But what if I don't? What if I hurt him?"
"Adrien, you can't control how someone feels about you. All you can do is be honest with him about your own feelings and intentions. It's better to be upfront and potentially hurt him now than to lead him on and hurt him even more later.”
Adrien sighed, knowing that Kagami was right. He thanked her for her advice and promised to keep her updated on what happened. As they said their goodbyes, Adrien knew that he had a lot to think about and a difficult decision to make.
After thinking about it for a while, Adrien decided to give Damian a chance. The big question now was how he was going to say this to his face.
***********************
As the morning sun rose, Adrien found himself waiting in front of their middle school for Damian. He had decided to tell him his decision in person, wanting to show him that he respected him enough to do so. Adrien felt nervous, but also a sense of determination to face his fears and be honest with Damian.
He saw Damian walking towards him, looking as stoic as ever. But as he approached, Adrien noticed a hint of apprehension in his eyes, which made him feel a little better about his own nerves.
"Good morning, Adrien," Damian greeted him, coming to a stop in front of him.
"Morning, Damian," Adrien said, trying to keep his voice steady. “Can we talk? In private?”
Damian looked at him for a moment. Then he nodded. They didn't have much time before their first class started. They headed to a deserted area at the back of the buildings. Adrien decided to speak up right away. If he didn't, he felt he would never have the courage to say what was on his mind.
"Listen, I wanted to talk to you about what you said the other day."
“I figured.”
“So…. Hmm..”
Adrien felt his heart racing. He was so nervous that he felt like he was in a desert without water and dehydrated.
"I've been doing a lot of thinking and…I… I've decided to give us a chance."
Adrien looked at his feet. He didn't have the courage to raise his head.
"I've never dated a boy. I.... I don't really know how I feel but... I... I like you. I don't know if it's love or something else. But... I want to see what this could be... If... If you'll let me."
Adrien heard no reply. All he heard was silence. Finally, Adrien looked up to see if Damian was still there.
The boy was looking at him expectantly.
“Damian?”
Damian's face broke into a rare smile, and Adrien felt relieved.
" We can take it slow and see where it goes… I guess."
Adrien smiles at him and felt a weight lifted off his shoulders. He felt grateful that he had someone who was willing to be patient with him and support him through this new experience.
"Thank you, Damian. I appreciate your understanding."
They stood in silence for a few moments, just taking in the new dynamic between them. Suddenly, the middle school bell rang, announcing the start of classes.
"Uh, we should probably head to class," Adrien said, breaking the silence.
Damian nodded, and they made their way to their classroom, side by side. Adrien felt a sense of excitement and nervousness about the unknown future, but he also felt a sense of peace knowing that he had made the right decision.

Like Cat&Bird [Part 3 of 4]
Part 1: Here | Part 2: Here  | AO3 : Here.
Pairing : Adrien x Damian
Chapter 3: Feelings.
Damian was avoiding him. Jon was seriously getting tired of it, so he decided it was time to confront the fool who was his best friend.
Jon sat down next to Damian and waited until he put down his book before speaking. "Can we talk?"
Damian glanced at him, then went back to reading.
"About what?"
Jon sighed.
"You know what I'm talking about. You've been distant with me ever since Adrien joined us that one time. What's going on?"
Damian gritted his teeth.
"Nothing."
Jon raised an eyebrow.
"It doesn't seem like nothing.”
Damian rolled his eyes and resumed reading as if Jon didn't exist. Jon stared at Damian with a mix of concern and confusion. He had never seen his friend act this way before. It was like he was a completely different person.
"Look, man," Jon said, placing a hand on Damian's shoulder. "I don't know what's going on with you, but it's clearly bothering you. You can talk to me about it."
Damian looked up at Jon again. The young kryptonian could read uncertainty in them. Damian looked at his book again, but this time Jon could clearly tell he wasn't reading. It was more of a way to avoid his gaze.
"I don't know."
"What?"
"I don't know. I don't understand how I feel."
Jon furrowed his brow.
"What do you mean? What are you feeling?"
Damian hesitated before finally admitting.
" I feel strange when I am with him."
“What are you talking about?”
“Adrien”
Jon's eyes widened in surprise. He had never thought of Damian having feelings for anyone before. But now that he thought about it, it made sense. Damian had been acting strange around Adrien lately, and now it all clicked into place.
Jon took a deep breath and tried to choose his words carefully. He didn't want to push Damian too hard, but he knew he had to help his friend come to terms with his feelings.
"Damian, do you think you might have feelings for Adrien?"
Damian looked away, clearly uncomfortable with the question.
"I...I don't know. I never thought about it before."
Jon nodded sympathetically.
"It's okay, Damian. It's normal to feel confused about these things. But it's important to be honest with yourself about how you feel. If you do have feelings for Adrien, there's nothing wrong with that."
Damian still seemed hesitant, but Jon could tell he was at least considering the possibility. "You...you really think so?"
Jon smiled reassuringly.
"Of course. Love is love, Damian. It doesn't matter who it's between. And if Adrien is someone who makes you happy, then that's all that matters."
Damian nodded slowly, deep in thought. Jon gave him a moment to process everything before speaking again.
"So...what do you think you're going to do?"
Damian shrugged.
"I don't know yet. I need to think about it more."
Jon nodded understandingly.
"That's okay. Just remember, I'm here for you, no matter what."
Damian gave him a small smile, and Jon felt a sense of relief. He knew that helping Damian come to terms with his feelings would be a journey, but he was determined to support his friend every step of the way.
*******************************
Damian has been acting strangely lately. Adrien doesn't really know how to interpret it. Or rather he is afraid to misinterpret Damian's behavior. Adrien had been noticing that Damian had been distant with him lately, and he couldn't figure out why. It was almost as if Damian was avoiding him. Adrien tried to brush it off, thinking that maybe Damian was just going through a rough patch or had something on his mind, but the more he thought about it, the more he realized that there might be something more going on.
Adrien and Damian had been close friends for a while now. They had bonded over their shared love of comics and action movies, and they had spent countless hours discussing their favorite characters and storylines. But now, it seemed like something had changed.
Adrien couldn't help but wonder if Damian's behavior had something to do with him. Had he said or done something to upset Damian? Was he not being a good friend? Adrien didn't know, but he was afraid to ask.
One day, while they were hanging out at the park, with Titus, Damian's dog. Adrien finally worked up the courage to confront Damian. He didn't want to make things awkward between them, but he also didn't want to continue feeling like there was something wrong.
"Hey, Damian," Adrien said, trying to keep his voice casual. "Is everything okay? You've been acting kind of strange lately."
Damian looked up from the manga he had been reading and frowned.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, it just seems like you're avoiding me or something."
Adrien said trying to sound as nonchalant as possible.
Damian hesitated before speaking.
"I'm sorry, Adrien. It's not you. It's me."
Adrien frowned.
"What do you mean?"
"I don't know how to explain it."
Damian looked away, clearly avoiding his gaze. Adrien could see that Damian was hesitant, so he decided to take it easy and wait for his friend to speak.
"I just feel...strange lately."
"What do you mean by ‘strange’?"
"I don't know how to explain it."
Damian remained silent for a moment. Then he ran his hand through his hair. A moment of silence continued between them. Finally, Damian sighed.
“I don't know how to act around you anymore. I feel like I'm always on edge.”
Adrien's heart skipped a beat.
“What?”
Damian took a deep breath before continuing, his voice barely above a whisper.
"I think...I think I might have feelings for you, Adrien."
Adrien had the feeling that his brain had just short-circuited. He felt like his cheeks were on fire. Had he heard correctly? Damian had feelings for him?
Adrien had never thought of Damian in that way before, but now that he was considering the possibility, he couldn't deny that there might be something there. He didn't know if he was attracted to boys. He had never really thought about the possibility. Adrien took a moment to compose himself before responding. He didn't want to say anything that might hurt Damian or make things awkward between them. But, on the other hand, he wasn't opposed to the idea of having...something more.
"Damian, I don't know what to say," Adrien said, his voice slightly shaky. "I had no idea that you felt that way."
"I know," Damian said, his voice full of uncertainty. "And I don't expect you to feel the same way."
Adrien felt a pang of guilt. He had been so caught up in his own thoughts that he hadn't realized how much Damian was struggling. He took a deep breath and looked at Damian.
"I really appreciate you telling me this, Damian. I care about you a lot, and I don't want anything to change that. But I need time to think about all of this. Can we take some time to process our feelings and talk about this more when we both feel ready?"
Damian nodded. Adrien couldn't really read his expression.
It made his heart ache.
"I understand.”
Adrien smiled weakly, feeling a mix of emotions. He was confused, scared, and unsure about what the future held, but he was also grateful for the honesty that Damian had shown him.
They spent the rest of the afternoon in silence, both lost in their thoughts, but Adrien knew that they would have to talk about this again soon.

Like Cat&Bird [Part 2 of 4]
Part 1: Here. | AO3 : Here.
Summary : Adrien and Damian became friends. At least that's what Adrien hopes.
Pairing : Adrien x Damian
As their friendship grew, Adrien and Damian started to branch out into other hobbies as well. Adrien shared his love of video games with Damian, who turned out to be a skilled player. In return, Damian introduced Adrien to the world of board games, and they spent many afternoons strategizing over games of Settlers of Catan or Risk.
One day, as they finished their lunch, Adrien cleared his throat nervously.
"Hey, Damian...I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime outside of school. Maybe we could check out that new comic bookstore that opened up downtown?"
Damian looked up at him, surprised, and for a moment Adrien was afraid he had overstepped. But then Damian nodded.
Adrien felt a surge of relief and excitement. It was the first time he had gone out with a friend since moving to Gotham. He missed it so much. He was relieved that Damian had said yes. They exchanged phone numbers and set a date for the following weekend.
When the day arrived, Adrien met Damian outside the comic bookstore. They wandered through the aisles, chatting about their favorite series and pointing out new releases to each other.
Adrien ended up buying the first volume of a series that Damian recommended to him. Once his purchase was made, they went together to the arcane room. Damian, who knew the place, served as his guide.
He was having so much fun that he didn't realize how much time had passed.
As they left the store, Adrien hesitated for a moment before speaking up.
"Hey, do you want to grab a bite to eat? There's a vegetarian place down the street that's supposed to be really good…"
Again, Damian nodded, and they walked to the place together. They made their order, then ate in silence. This silence was really pleasant. Adrien found himself feeling more relaxed than he had in a long time. Sometimes you didn't have to have a long speech or talk to someone all the time to not feel lonely. The silence between them was relaxing because they didn't need words to understand that the day had gone well.
As they parted ways at the end of the day, Adrien felt a sense of warmth and happiness in his chest. He was grateful for this unexpected friendship.
Adrien and Damian had been hanging out a lot lately, and Adrien was excited to have made a new friend in Gotham. He had been missing the close friendships he had back home, and he felt like Damian was filling that void.
One day, as they were discussing their plans to check out the new comic bookstore, Adrien was surprised when Damian asked if someone could come along. Adrien was a little surprised. He had naively assumed that Damian had no other friends. He then realized that he didn't know Damian as well as he thought. Maybe his relationship with the boy was nothing special? This made him uncomfortable. Still, it shouldn't bother him. He, too, when he was in Paris, had several friends. Why did the idea that Damian had a friend other than himself make his heart ache? Since the events in Paris, he had really become selfish, hadn't he?
At the bookstore, Adrien was a little reserved at first. He didn't want to come off as clingy or possessive of Damian's attention. But as they started browsing the shelves, Jon asked for Adrien's opinion on a certain graphic novel.
"Hey Adrien, have you read this one yet?" Jon asked, holding up a graphic novel.
Adrien took the book from Jon's hand and examined the cover. "Yeah, I have. It's one of my favorites. Have you read it?"
"No, not yet," Jon admitted. "I've been meaning to though. What did you like about it?"
Adrien grinned. "Oh, you know, the usual. Great art, compelling storyline, interesting characters. The author really knows how to craft a superhero origin story."
Jon nodded, impressed. "You know your stuff. What other graphic novels do you recommend?"
Adrien was pleased to share his knowledge, and soon they were engaged in a lively discussion about their favorite comic book characters. Adrien started to relax, feeling more comfortable around Jon.
Maybe he'd had a disproportionate reaction, right?
It wasn't so bad to make another friend who was from another city. Jon was easy to talk to and had a contagious enthusiasm that Adrien found endearing. He also appreciated how Jon respected his opinions and wasn't afraid to challenge him on his beliefs.
Adrien was so absorbed in the conversation that he didn't realize that Damian hadn't opened his mouth all afternoon. It was only after Jon left that Adrien realized the silence between him and Damian. Unlike usual, it was not a pleasant silence at all. Damian did not look at him and walked in front of him with a quick step. He could almost see the negative aura emanating from his friend's body.
Adrien caught up to him and asked, "Hey, is everything okay?"
Damian didn't respond immediately, instead choosing to continue walking in silence. Adrien's concern grew, and he reached out to touch Damian's arm to stop him. Damian finally turned to face him, and Adrien was taken aback by the intensity of his glare.
"What's the matter, Damian?" Adrien asked, trying to keep his voice calm.
"Why did you have to be so chummy with Jon?" Damian spat out, his voice dripping with venom.
Adrien was taken aback by the sudden hostility in Damian's tone.
"What do you mean? Jon was just asking for my opinion on comics, and we started talking. And then... I don't understand what the problem is, you're the one who invited Jon. I thought you wanted us to be friends.”
Damian's glare intensified. He said nothing more and began his fast walk again.
Adrien felt a wave of panic come over him. He had the feeling that if he let Damian go, they would no longer be friends. So, he did the only thing that made sense to him at the time. He caught up with Damian and almost shouted in his face.
"I'm sorry!"
This had the effect of stopping Damian.
"Look...I don't know what I could have done to piss you off... But I'm sorry."
Damian sighed.
Adrien didn't know what else to say, so he remained silent. There was a long minute of silence between them. Finally, Damian spoke up.
"Are you hungry?"
"Huh? Uh...Yes?"
"Good."
Without saying another word Damian turned around and started walking. Adrien was confused but followed him in silence. They arrived in front of a vegetarian restaurant that Adrien knew well. They often went there together.
They went in. Once they were settled, Damian spoke up.
"Order whatever you want. It's on me."
Adrien looked at him for a moment. Damian didn't look him in the eye but stared at the menu. The blond boy smiled. Damian was clearly embarrassed. So... Was this invitation his way of apologizing?
It was cute in a way.
