like he just doesn't seem to care anymore. he's not seeking out that validation and approval in unhealthy places, that conditional love from punk. he's realized he deserves better. he has his title, and he has a real genuine friend in adam cole. someone who treats him right.

he's finally happy. he doesn't need to chase after his old & bitter childhood hero anymore.
